You have to hand it to CD Projekt Red - the Polish developer's been working like mad on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's post-launch support. Alongside free weekly downloadable content packs, the game's also racked up a few hefty patches on PlayStation 4.
The latest update - numbered 1.04 - is available to download right now. It supposedly improves the title's performance, while also making numerous user-friendly tweaks to the open world adventure. Check out the full patch notes, and then tell us how your witching business is going in the comments section below.

Nice look forward to giving this a whirl!
I was playing this before the patch and I'm installing it now. I'll continue playing and see if I notice a difference.
Also, I'm reading about a zoom option on the PS4 interface. Did I miss that when you covered accessibility options? I knew about controller inputs but not this.
Nice at last I won't get stuck lighting candles when I want to open a dam chest or talk to NPCs
@ztpayne7 u should do the patches to get the best experience possible
@Illusionistt oh I know. I meant I didn't know the patch was out when I first started playing today.
Great news just ordered a ps4 and the witcher 3 coming tomorrow EXCITED!💁👌😍
@Hnadeem46 Nice! Love getting a new console. Enjoy mate.
I'll wait for a price drop and more patches
The new font size is nice, it does make it a lot easier to read.
Im loving The Witcher, but I am finding a little to easy. I have it on the hardest difficulty and I rarely die. I took on a level 25 beast whilst I was level 15 and killed it without any problems or dying myself. I hope they add another difficulty level at some point in the future.
Other than it being a little to easy, its easily one of the best games I have played in a long time.
great stuff
Hmmm seems a bit better to me! Still stutters in the bog when fighting a 3-4 drowners, but elsewhere it feels better. I'm at Skellige Isles now...jesus this game looks amazing :/
Nice. Looking forward to play all weekend
@kyleforrester87 thanks man and defo 😂 used my Amazon prime trial just for it 😂
@kyleforrester87 Valen is a great looking area but Skellige is even better looking too. Skellige kind of reminds me of Skyrim.
Anyone had the next two pieces of dlc yet? Im sure we're meant to be getting two each week, but there is only the same four pieces we've had already.
The patch release notes is very different from the one mentioned here. For example there is nothing mentioned about the fonts nor the candles
@WARDIE I downloaded things for the first time yesterday and there were 6 items on the store
Finally got this game today, along with a few ciders which are now chilling in the fridge. Champions League then The Witcher, great Saturday night in!
Is this game playable and completable without any patches. I dont have a good internet connect speed at home to download any large patches. I keep my ps4 offline.
Alot of improvment but Stutter while walk with The Horse and Frame Rates drops and Pop-in on Cutscene still exist,
Wet armor bug after pause the game still there.
Hope patches coming soon to fix these issues.
I think those patch notes are from the PC version 1.05, the candles and a few quest fixes are not in the PS4 version 1.04. A lot of what is listen here is in the current patch, but not all of it.
@brendon987
Yes but it has a few bugs but nothing bad.
Thank god the patch fixes the candles, thay can be pains by loot.
