Heart to beat

Video game news may be proving more elusive than a politician that tells the truth, but at least there are plenty of new releases to look forward to. Sony's excellent Spring Fever is set to soldier on yet again from Tuesday, with cross-buy title Titan Souls part of the lineup this time. Meanwhile, those of you in North America can also look forward to the overdue Teslagrad on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.

Of course, we're overlooking the biggest new game of the week: Mortal Kombat X. NetherRealm's nasty fighting franchise will be making its debut on Sony's next-gen system, with a PS3 release due later in the year. Also headlining on the Japanese giant's flagship format will be We Are Doomed, while there'll be demos for Shiftlings and Trine: Enchanted Edition. If that's not enough, PlayStation Vita fans can look forward to Bloxiq, Best of Arcade Games Deluxe Edition, and Medieval Defenders.

A sizeable lineup, then – and the old-school among you may be excited to learn that a Grand Theft Auto Trilogy Edition and Gradius V will be made available in the PS2 Classics sub-section of the PlayStation Store. As always, this information is accurate as of the latest PlayStation Blogcast, so don't shout at us if details change. Assuming that there are no last minute setbacks, though – what are you buying?
