The Ratchet & Clank Trilogy has finally gone gold, Sony has announced. The title was originally set to release in early June, but was delayed for undisclosed reasons. Nevertheless, it’s now finally ready for a 27th June launch in mainland Europe and 29th June release in the UK. The game’s set to arrive in North America later this year.
For those unclear, the collection collates all three original Ratchet & Clank titles in laser-sharp high-definition and stereoscopic 3D. What’s not to like about that?
To celebrate the release date, Sony’s launched the brand new trailer below. Are you planning on revisiting the popular PS2 platformers?

Wow...those games don't look different at all...
hooray!
@mickeymac my thoughts exactly but i got it for £12.99 via asda's misprice so even if its bad ill get £25 trade-in
@Mickeymac: I don't think a YouTube video will do the best job of showing off an HD collection like this. That said, you can't expect them to remake the games entirely...it's just an uprezzed collection of classic games as usual. Still a great deal for three games WITH multiplayer, so I for one am looking forward to this finally releasing in NA later this year.
@Stuffgamer1 You're probably right. It's just a shock. I expected to be blown away by the visuals, but I wasn't.
I never expected that to begin with...bit unrealistic, really. Now, at the rate Squenix is taking to push out FFXHD, I'm starting to feel that such an expectation would be fair for THAT title...seriously, what's taking them so long?
