Atlus has some good news and bad news about the King Of Fighters XIII.

The downloadable extension was originally intended for a December 20th release, but will now drop on January 10th. In order to make up for the delay, the DLC's price will be cut to $2.99 for a limited period upon launch.

In more positive news, Atlus has announced that it's working on a patch for the King Of Fighters XIII to "make the game's network infrastructure more consistent for users, ensuring that the evaluation given connections is more accurate to the actual play experience". The patch will also introduce a minimum signal strength setting to the game's matchmaking options, essentially allowing players to prevent opponents with poor connections from joining an open game.
