Once a mega franchise in the original PlayStation's arsenal, the series trundled through the PSP and PS2 era with some impressive but overlooked releases. But according to Official PlayStation Magazine, franchise creator Sony Bend is lining up a new entry in the series once it's done with Uncharted: Golden Abyss.
According to the publication, the game will appear on PlayStation Vita. It's not the first we've heard of Syphon Filter rumours — Studio London was rumoured to be working on a PS3 entry in the series just last month. We can't imagine Sony would have two seperate entries of the franchise in devolopment for two platforms, but we'll see. There's no smoke without fire, eh?
