The game launched late, and suffered from a fairly inferior port. With Bioshock: Infinite due to launch day and date on the PlayStation 3, Irrational's taken to reassuring fans that the game will not suffer on Sony's platform.

Lead technical designer, Chris Kline, reassured fans on the studio's official forums that the game is being developed on the PlayStation 3 alongside other versions of the title. According to Kline, Irrational's modified their engine so that all platforms resemble the PlayStation 3. This is not only good news for the PlayStation 3 version, but it is also beneficial to the game's other SKUs.
