Weapon #1: M1911A1

  • Automatically added to your inventory after gaining control of Snake

Kerotan #1

  • From your starting position, enter the clearing and go up the slope to your left
  • Along the left wall, look for a tree log balanced on top of some tree stumps
  • Underneath the tree log is the Kerotan

GA-KO #1

  • Underneath the same tree log as Kerotan #1, just to the right

Food #1: Flying Squirrel

  • In this same area, turn around and observe the trees around you
  • Eventually, you should spot a Flying Squirrel climbing up a tree
  • Shoot it and collect it
