After speaking to Ikkotah in Cliffwatch, he'll ask you to meet him near the forest to the west of the settlement. Go to the location marked on the map, which is the Campfire just west of Tallneck: The Stand of the Sentinels.

Talk to Ikkotah and he'll ask you to follow him to a machine site. Once you arrive, you just need to take down all the machines in the area — namely Redeye Watchers, Shell-Walkers, and Clawstriders. Once these machines are dealt with, a Scorcher will appear. Take this machine down, too.

Once all the machines are dead, return to Ikkotah and talk to him to finish the Errand.
