There are 3 Skulls and 1 Terminal to find in Heavy Burden. Below we have documented where to find them all in the order you would naturally encounter them, as part of our Halo Campaign Evolved guide.

Skull #1: Eye Patch

Checkpoint: Best Served Cold / Rally Point Alpha

  • As you work your way through the level, you'll eventually come to a bridge you have to cross
  • Instead of crossing, continue along the path you're on to reach a walkway higher than the bridge
  • Follow it to the other side, and you'll find the Skull on the ledge to the right of the locked door

Terminal #1: Harmonious Clarity

Checkpoint: Rally Point Bravo

  • After the cutscene in which you download the data, you'll regain control in the bridge room
  • On the bottom floor, leave the room via the unlocked doors in the back, then pass through that room to reach an armoury
  • Go through the next door, then on the left side behind the pods is the Terminal

Skull #2: Grunt Birthday Party

Checkpoint: Rally Point Bravo

  • As you're making your way to regroup with Williams and the UNSC survivors, you'll reach a room you enter from the top that's packed full of enemies
  • There'll be a staircase in front of you as you enter, with a purple flame coming out of a pit on the side
  • The Skull is on top of the rock formation you can see coming out of the ground
  • To reach it, go left from the room's entrance and drop down one level to the platform below you
  • Get on top of the nearest purple flame and jump across to the rock formation, landing on the flat surface below the Skull
  • Do a jump on the spot and you'll get the option to grab the Skull

Skull #3: Efficient

Checkpoint: Tunnel Vision / Rally Point Charlie

  • In the moving platform section of the mission, you'll eventually have to get off it to bring the power back on
  • Once you've done that, get back on the platform to continue
  • The next room will have a bridge in it; then it's in the room after that where you have to get off
  • Jump onto the platform on your left, then spring to the back-right corner as you land on it
  • By the locked door is the Skull on the ground
