What Are All Shrines Locations in Ghost of Yotei?

There are 13 Shrines to find in the game. You can tell a Shrine is nearby when you spot Torii gates guiding you up a hill or a mountain off to the side. Follow them and eventually join the path up to the Shrine, where bowing in front of it will unlock a new Charm.

Their start points are marked on the map with a Torii gate, but the Shrine themselves are usually positioned elsewhere. You can only find them through open world exploration or by purchasing Traveller's Maps.

All Shrines in Yotei Grasslands

There are 3 Shrines in the Yotei Grasslands. Below we'll reveal the locations of all of them via images and a quick description of how to reach them.

Fall's Rest Shrine

• In the southeastern corner of the Yotei Grasslands, you should find a series of Torii gates leading you up a mountain
• Follow the path up the mountain until you reach an area with a pool of water
• To the left of the water is the Shrine to pray at

Reward: Charm of Kanayago

Mount Yotei Shrine

• In the northwestern corner of the region, follow the Yotei River west from Master Hejiro's Garden
• You'll reach an area full of white-leafed trees, with the Torii gates leading you to the path

Reward: Mother's Charm + Father's Charm

Blooming Ridge Shrine

• In the northest corner of the region, there's a path you can take to reach Tokachi Range
• Along this path, along Nupur River, you should find a Torii gate leading you up the right side of the cliff
• Follow the path up the cliff to reach the Shrine

Reward: Charm of Amenowakahiko

All Shrines in Ishikari Plain

There are 3 Shrines in Ishikari Plain. Below we'll reveal the locations of all of them via images and a quick description of how to reach them.

Sun's Peak Shrine

• From Nishin Fishery in the southwest corner of the region, continue along the coast to where a waterfall is
• The Torii gates will guide you to the Shrine from here

Reward: Charm of Izanagi

Azure Wind Shrine

• This Shrine is at the most northern tip of the region
• You'll come here as part of the Revenge Quest relating to The Oni, so it's part of main story progress

Winding Tears Shrine

• In the far east of the region, where the river flows upstream, look for the Torii gates along Nakagoya Spring
• Follow the path you find up the rocks and through the cave network to reach the Shrine

Reward: Charm of Homusubi

All Shrines in Tokachi Range

There are 3 Shrines in Tokachi Range. Below we'll reveal the locations of all of them via images and a quick description of how to reach them.

Amber Respite Shrine

• From the entrance to this region from the Yotei Grasslands, head north and into the northwest corner of the map
• Here you'll find a stunning waterfall that leads to a lake, where there are Torii gates
• Follow them up the cliff to the Shrine

Reward: Charm of Masakodo

Faithful Leap Shrine

• On the eastern edge of the region, there's a small part that extends out next to Hidaka Grove
• Go here and search the orange tree forest to find the Torii gates
• Follow them up the cliff to reach the Shrine

Reward: Charm of Futsunushi

Risen Fog Shrine

• At the northernmost tip of this region, you can take the Central Ferry over the Great Lake
• In this area, keep walking past the boat to find this Shrine entrance
• Follow the path laid out for you to reach the Shrine

Reward: Charm of Kibitushiko

All Shrines in Nayoro Wilds

Patient Frost Shrine

• In the northwest part of the area, just north of Iwor Mountains, look for the Torii gates guiding you up a path
• Follow it to the top to reach the Shrine

Reward: Charm of Yamatotakeru

All Shrines in Teshio Ridge

There are 2 Shrines in Teshio Ridge. Below we'll reveal the locations of all of them via images and a quick description of how to reach them.

Enduring Hold Shrine

• West of Sentinel Forest, search the snowy, mountainous region for Torii gates
• Follow them up the mountain and onto the cliffside paths to the Shrine
• When you reach a frozen lake, there's a gap in the back you can squeeze through

Reward: Charm of Masaka

Chilled Peak Shrine

• Along the northwestern perimeter of the region, directly north of Sarobetsu Lake, look for a red Torii gate
• This will direct you to an opening in the cliff, accessed by squeezing through a gap
• Follow the long path up the mountain to the shrine, and use the campfires along the way to keep warm

Reward: Charm of Sukunahikona

All Shrines in Oshima Coast

There is 1 Shrine in Oshima Coast. Below we'll reveal the locations of all of them via images and a quick description of how to reach them.

Budding Grace Shrine

• On the eastern side of the region, head as far south as you possibly can
• In the Esan Inlet area, search for Torii gates that'll lead you up to the Shrine

Reward: Golden Mask + Charm of Takemikazuchi
