After completing the Main Story and getting your ending, you'll return to the main menu. From here, you can reload your save by clicking "Continue". This will put you at the last Rest Point in Lumiere before the final boss in the game.

When you interact with the Rest Point, there'll be a new option labelled New Game+. Press this to start New Game Plus.

When you start New Game+ in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, the following will carry from your first playthrough:

  • Character progression, levels, and attribute points
  • Inventory items

After starting a New Game Plus run, you lose any progress you've made in optional Quests, the quest items related to them, and all your Relationship Levels will be reset.

The main benefit of starting New Game+ is the chance to encounter stronger enemies that reward even better loot and items than the base game. There are also rewards exclusive to New Game+, so there is a small amount of new content to find also.
