I can't wait to play all these games once I suck up paying 550 dollars for this headset. I'm not used to paying a lot on VR yet : (
I could definitely argue for other games, but it’s all subjective. I’m just glad there are so many fantastic games that could justifiably be in the top 15, and after just 1 month too!
I seem to be enjoying CotM a bit more than most reviewers here — the graphics are pretty amazing (I mean, even the moss on the rocks is detailed and clear) and I have enjoyed the combat even if the movement is limited to strafing. There are a few moments, like the close call with a Thunderjaw while swinging on a vine — that really impressed me.
I like Synth Riders a lot but would not list it as highly as it is here. And am I the only person on the planet who played that new Tetris and thought it was just "meh"? I really don't get it.
On edit, it looks as if I need to play both Demeo and Light Brigade. Thanks, Push Square!
Ive had more fun with the rhythm based games on PSVR2 so far. Drums rock and Unplugged are great titles, if a little light on content. They dont make me feel queezy either like the majority of the other games ive played. I can literally last 10 minutes on S&S chapter 2 before im sweating like a dog and feeling rough. Pistol whip is great as is GT7 but as ive completed it and you cant wipe your previous progress i dont have that urge to play and progress as everything is already unlocked etc.
No Kayak VR in this list?
@Reeneman It hasn’t received a high enough user rating on our Game Page to make the top 15.
@LiamCroft
Did I misread, or is S&S 1 on the list but not 2? I have only the original too, and will get the sequel when it’s finished, but thought most would have bought the collection or settled for the sequel. Interesting.
So far I spent most of my time with the Light Brigade. It's the only game that keeps pulling me back. Together with RE8 it got a 10 from me.
Really interesting list - thanks for compiling. Surprised horizon is so low on the list and would have bet my house that GT7 would be top!!
@thefourfoldroot1 That’s right, Chapter 2 actually has a qualifying rating, but it hasn’t received enough votes yet 😊
@Wormwood23
Interesting, totally agree with you on all of those points!
I highly recommend Demeo. I just jump into online games with other players and I’ve had a blast so far.
@thefourfoldroot1 Definitely submit your ratings, though! This is all determined by you guys after all!
Solid list. Personally, I'd take Gt7 and Re8 over S&S any day. But still, all great games.
The struggle to not click "buy" on the PSVR2 is real right now.
@Wormwood23 light brigade is really awesome 🤩 have fun. Definitely be sure to try out the other classes as soon as they unlock
@blacksapper Clicckkk ittttt... Jooiiinnnn usssssssss
I keep seeing people online (not just on Push Square) saying that Call of the Mountain's story is hard to follow and I simply don't get it. As a fan of the first two Horizon games and their lore, it's very easy for me to follow. In fact, it's quite a simple story in general. I will admit that the story almost requires knowledge of those games, but if you're familiar with the series, it's not rocket science. It's also one of my favorite of the 10 or so PSVR2 games I've played so far. Your mileage may vary.
The initially rough reception of No Man's Sky VR can't safely be put to bed?
It's a blurry mess as it is and unplayable to most. Not sure why you as a large online presence fail to pick up on this. Doesn't help the hope for a patch being expedited!
@NeonPizza agreed on RE8….I don’t actually like scary games but this game is absolutely stunning so I’m feeling the need to power through. 😁
@get2sammyb wow! Bold choice to put RE4 Remake as the #1 best PSVR2 game when the VR mode hasn't even released yet! Maybe time to review the VR Mode?
Why is RE4 on 1st place???
Ok, I have to point this out because, surprisingly, no one else has yet:
Why is RE4 not only in the #1 spot, but even on this list AT ALL?? There is a VR mode in development, but no one has played it, seen it or has any idea what it will entail, might even just be a lame, short bonus mode.. regardless, you can't say it's the "#1 PSVR2 Game".. when it's not playable on PSVR2 in any way! Lol it can absolutely be #1 on a regular PS5 games list! Lol is there any oversight on this website at all? Does the person who wrote this article even have a PSVR2 or played one??
Masternoid would definitely make the top 10 list now. Such a great game
