Topic: What's a good PS1 game I may not have played?

Hi everyone. I have a PS1 for the next few weeks (possibly longer) What are some great games I may not have played? I've got Command and conquer, gran turismo 2, libero grande and LMA manager.

LMA manager stands up brilliantly, I thought it was rubbish back In the day but it's loads of fun and super quick (rather than modern manager games). So my question is what other hidden gems should I pickup?

Suikoden 1 (and 2 if you can find a cheap copy)

Played then all, I've even made a London 1969 remix of the first cutscene from the London version too!

Tekken 3
Of course I've played it. Loved force mode.

Suikoden 1 (and 2 if you can find a cheap copy)
Played suikoden 3 and don't have anywhere near the time required to play any others

The Legend of Dragoon
Is this panzer Dragoon for the playstation? This is a brilliant shout and am looking for it now.

I've got to say retro gaming on the PS1 is loads better than the megadrive. The games have more substance to keep you playing.

@themcnoisy Legend of Dragoon is a JRPG. A game on my own "to play list" as well.

Spyro 3 is pretty good. I can never decide whether or not it's better than Ripto's Rage, though.

I played this last year and loved it. A really fun and charming platformer.
The boss battles are incredible! Surprisingly hard though, or maybe games have just gotten easier.

@themcnoisy Legend of Dragoon is a JRPG and a brilliant one I a may add. The problem is JRPGs on the PS tend to get overshadowed by FF VII even the ones like Legend of Dragoon which is alot better.

As for Symphony of the Night. You need to stop posting and go play that immediately.

@AXEL314 Alundra good but can be difficult too, also it can be expensive.

I'm sure you will have heard and played most of these but off the top of my head,

Kurushi (aka, I.Q.: Intelligent Qube) - Strange but weirdly addictive puzzle game.
Bust-a-Move 1&2 (aka, Bust-a-groove 1&2) - Odd Japanese Rhythm Dance/Battle game.
Xenogears - Pretty cool Japanese RPG.
Bishi Bashi Special - Mini game fun.
Ehrgeiz - Square 3D fighter featuring many Squaresoft characters. Also has a Dungeon Crawler Quest mode.
Einhänder - Scrolling Shooter.
Future Cop LAPD - 3rd person shooter. Transforming robot Police stuff.
Die Hard Triology - 3 great games. 3rd person shooter, light gun and driving games.
Roll Cage Stage 2 - Decent battle racer that lets you flip your car on it's top or bottom.
Parasite Eve 1&2 - Both great RPG/action games, 2 probably holds up better these days.
Omega Boost - Polyphony Digital making a Space Robot Shooter.
3xtreme - One of those bad games you just enjoy for now reason at all. Extreme sports downhill racing.
G-Police - Futuristic Jet Helicopter shooter.
Speed Punks - Cartoon kart racer.
Incredible Crisis - Another crazy mini game collection.
Rage Racer - For me, this was the best of the Namco racers on the Playstation.
Street Fighter Zero 3 - Brilliant game. Great World Tour mode and Pocketstation support.
Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere - The best Ace Combat on the original Playstation.
Pepsiman - Just worth it for the bizarreness. Run and dodge game.
Sledstorm - Up to 4 player, Snowmobile racer.
Hot Shots Golf 1&2 - Amazingly fun golf cartoon games. Praying for PSVR support for the new game.
International Track and Field - Great button mashing sports game.
Adidas Power Soccer - Pretty cool Adidas Predator advert. Haha. Score from the halfway line every time.

I could go on and on, the Playstation was such an amazing console.

Silent Bomber has a nonsense story and awful cutscenes, but it's a very slick, fast-paced, arcadey action game that I used to love. About nine people bought it, I think.

@themcnoisy Yep, as the games called Door to Phantomile! Just watched a vid and it has Klanoa billboards round the circuit too lol. Actually started playing it again last night on Vita. Would love to play the PS2 one too.. wish they'd make another!

One of my favorites, die hard 2 on rails shooter is my favourite but again a touch to old looking and playing these days.

Yup played this too. I was always more wipeout/extreme g/f zero but roll cage was OK.

Haha a bad game, but worth checking king out. I may have actually played it but will check YouTube to be sure.

Played it. Didn't like it much. Horrible to control.

Rage Racer - For me, this was the best of the Namco racers on the Playstation.
Crazy RR type 4 is the best! Ridge racer is one of my favourite series. I have almost all of the cars on the ps1 Classic on my Vita.

@Quintumply @themcnoisy Dude Silent Bomber was awesome! I only had the demo actually but I'd forgotten what it was called. Vanquish always made me think of playing that game. I'd love to play it again. Is it on the PS1 classics store per chance..?

@kyleforrester87 @Tasuki have you got a PS1 still? Crazy going on a hunt on ebay, retro game sites, mainstream sites, Amazon etc. The games vary from really cheap to insanity. Klanoa door to Phantomile was up for £90! Legend of Dragoon pal version is £100. Stupid really as the ntsc version is a lot cheaper.

@SoulChimera Is zero street fighter alpha? I picked up the first alpha game for £13 without the case, Ive played one (possibly more) of the alpha games, can't remember which tbh as I had moved on to the Namco fighters from sf2 until I bought the anniversary edition with sf3 and the sf anime packed in. But that's due to arrive in the next week.

@themcnoisy Yes, Street Fighter Zero 3 is the Jap version of Street Fighter Alpha 3.

I've got the PSP version, Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max on my Vita. It's a very good game and usually going cheap on the PS Store. It's actually got more characters too (4 more I think).
