Metonymy

@FuriousMachine Yeah the reception for Other Mommy has dissuaded me from seeing it in theatres at least. I’m curious to hear how it is from someone who has actually read the book. Hope your weekend watching goes well! This weekend’s all about Wildwood for me, feels like we’ve been waiting forever for it!

@Metonymy I'm so looking forward to Wildwood! It doesn't open until the 30th here, so O'll be waiting a little bit longer. Hoping to catch it next Sunday.

The annual "Films from South" festival is just around the corner and there are some really interesting titles this year, including Colony, which I missed on it's first run and the other new Korean phenomenon, Hope. Going to try hard to catch both of those. I'm also looking at The Condor Daughter from Bolivia, The Furious from Thailand (not a biopic about me - at least, I don't think so) and last year's Jackie Chan HK actioner The Shadow's Edge
Fingers crossed the programming fits with the other boring life-stuff one has to engage in.
