This month's PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium game update is now live for PS5, PS4 players (or some of it is, if you are in the UK, USA, or Japan), which means it's time to learn what titles will be taken off the service in November 2026.

We already know that GTA 5 is leaving PS Plus Extra, as per a message from Sony, but the full list has now been shared in the Last Chance to Play section.

The following 11 PS5, PS4 games are leaving PS Plus Extra on 17th November 2026:

Unlike the PS Plus Essential tier, in which you gain access to the games for as long as you subscribe to the service after redeeming them, the PS Plus Extra tier revokes access once the titles depart. If you want to continue playing any of the above, you'll have to buy them after 17th November 2026.

PS Plus Extra Red Dead Redemption 2

Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA 5 are the two obvious standouts, but since you'll all be playing GTA 6 next month, I don't advise you play something so similar in the lead-up to the next Rockstar game. You wouldn't want to burn yourself out!

Instead, take a look at Earth Defense Force 4.1 and The Talos Principle 2. They offer a different kind of experience from the norm, and they're both of high quality.

Earth Defense Force 4.1 offers tons of dumb action-based fun, as our PS4 review stated: "A game that knows exactly what it's doing and sticks wholeheartedly to its stupidity, it's a refreshing experience that's bolstered by an admittedly addictive gameplay loop."

Then, in our The Talos Principle 2 PS5 review, we rated it a 9/10 and branded it a "brilliant philosophical puzzle sequel with new and improved mechanics".

Also, at this point, it's common knowledge that Rockstar cycles its titles in and out of subscription services often — it does the same with Xbox Game Pass. You should expect GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 to return for a fourth stint (yes, it's really happened this many times) on PS Plus Extra in the future.

Will you move any of these PS5, PS4 games to the front of your backlog? Let us know in the comments below.
