Just finished Veep, brilliant show and glad I got the chance to watch it! I wonder what's next in my comedy pipeline

@ralphdibny Was the ending worth it, then? I should try and make the effort someday.

@RogerRoger I think so yeah. It's hard for me to tell cos I've been ill all week/weekend as I binged the last few series so I didn't enjoy them as much but I felt a bit better today and enjoyed the last few episodes much more. Can't tell if my illness made the show worse 😅

I'll probably watch it all again in a couple years tho I imagine!

@RogerRoger cheers, I think I've broke the back of it and am getting better. Got 12 days of work in a row starting Thursday (contractor, yay 🙄) so hopefully I am feeling much better by then

I don’t know if anyone else enjoys the Mischief Theatre stuff but the second series of their “Goes Wrong” show started last night and it was good, silly fun as always.

I've been watching Key and Peele sketches on YouTube over the last few weeks. The ones that YouTube recommended me have been very funny. I did watch them a bit a few years ago but I must have seen a duff selection back then because I didn't stick with it. The ones I've seen lately have been brilliant. I'll post one that I watched last night.

@ralphdibny Ha ha yeah Key and Peele are awesome! The humour can get quite dark at times but still be really silly, which I really like. Crazy to think Jordan Peele now directs and produces horror films, but you can still see some the uneasiness from the sketches in his films.

@JohnnyShoulder yeah it is dark and has a weirdly great production value that most sketch shows don't have. I haven't actually seen any of Peele's films because they were overhyped and I usually like to watch films and TV with no externally influenced expectations (either good or bad). I'll get around to them one day though!

These days mate, if you say you're English, you get arrested and thrown in jail.

Not strictly comedy but this one is amusing, I always come back to this every year or two. Great editing.

An oldy, but this always makes me laugh.

Here is my story.

There was a pet shop which the owner had a talkative parrot. His parrot like to talk and it being placed outside in front of the pet shop to attract the customers. One day, there was an old woman usually walked in front of the pet shop and the parrot started to call that woman "Ugly Madam! Ugly Madam, Rawk!".
At first, that old woman ignored whatever the parrot said but everytime she walked in front of that pet shop, the parrot keep calling her Ugly Madam. At the last straw, she came to pet shop owner and said " Sir, please teach your parrot say something nice. Everytime I walked in front of your pet shop, your parrot keep calling me Ugly Madam all the time !"
"Oh, I'm really terribly sorry Madam. I will teach my parrot to behave better." replied the pet shop owner.

One week later, that old woman walked in front of that pet shop and the parrot was still being displayed outside. But this time, the parrot just only say "Madam! Madam! Madam! "
The old woman asked to that parrot "What? Do you want to say that I am ugly?"
"Rawk ! How did you know, Madam ?" replied the parrot.

English is funny language.
