So I don’t mean to post actual scary news in the scary month of all times
Well to be fair I’ve already posted plenty horrific puns this month
But yesterday I had sensory issues with my car, not my body’s five senses thankfully, but issues with my car’s sensors apparently, because it’s driving just fine but it still randomly gives me errors like this one without rhyme or reason
Sometimes happens at way too specify streets
Maybe it’s the fault of… a GhoooOOOoooOOOOoost 👻
I called Mitsubishi and they said I should go to check for maintenance and see what’s up
Sadly soonest I can go is Saturday but thankfully my car drives fine so far
To be fair, given how loudly I think sometimes, I think my car got sick of listening to all my puns
Can’t help it, tis the scary season, I gotta scare people some way or form

@get2sammyb yeah, slightly off topic but I honestly think the sheer amount of games releasing lately is a major reason that so many releases are selling under expectations… well, that and the economy.

😅there’s an undeniable overstaturation in the market, generally speaking
The economy point is true though, I had to make a choice between three games this October because I don’t wanna buy more than one full price game per month, and shadow felt like a solid choice, especially with three days Early gameplay
Combined with the NZ timezone, I’ll be so early playing it, I can brag about it like an a🤑🤑hole!

@Yousef- cool, well hope it’s as good as you hope. I probably haven’t played a cutesy platformer since Sonic 3 on the Megadrive. Just haven’t been my thing for a long time, the reception Astrobot had recently has given me cause for consideration though tbh.
@colonelkilgore yeah, main goal for it to be a conversation piece between friends in discord dms, besides that I may forget about it after I beat it since Dynasty Warriors: Origins is my main hyped again now that I’m almost finished with DR;DR and currently just helping someone in DMs get into the series. Pirate Yakuza will be a similar affair, conversation-piece game.
Looking forward to everything though! I’ll probably fit El Paso Elsewhere into my Q42024 plans, as well as some GTA replays on my steam deck via the ps2 emulator. Might mess with mods.

Regarding Kill Knight.
I received notification when it went on sale yesterday and did a quick search for reviews. There are a couple out there already on other sites (not that I admit to frequenting or using other sites you understand). The two I read gave it an 8 and a 9 so fair to say it's probably pretty good. You are right - it looks flippin awesome and launched at a more than reasonable price.
Now it only I didn't already have too much to play for the next month or two...

Was already on my wishlist. So either I heard about it at some point, added it and forgot about it or Sony now just randomly puts things in there it thinks I will be tempted by. Either is possible.
One of the reviews drew comparisons (aesthetically) with Ruiner which reminded me - oh I remember buying Ruiner and then losing it somewhere in the backlog. Such is (gaming) life.

@Yousef- @JohnnyShoulder
I'm not sure if the Mayo peeps opened the Ketchup story but they certainly started the cheap platinum gravy, err I mean sauce train.
As for Max Mustard, I was serious about a review as it looks a good VR game, an Astrobot rescue mission replacement because Sony can't be arsed to do it themselves.
Just had a massive free jazz guitar workout session playing along to some drum-only tracks on Spotify. It's like that old joke, it feels like I just "flew in from Peach Creek and (because) boy are my arms tired!" 🤣
What's everyone else doing today?
Oh yeah and I was volunteering yesterday for my volunteer mental health role, that went well and felt quite rewarding as it often does.
Also gonna be farming in Elden Ring for a while, so that's why I won't be posting in the PS5 Currently Playing Thread too often as it gets boring for others to read if you just talk about farming every time - gotta mix it up!
but just to clarify - I will still be playing even if I'm not posting about it. 😃
@BlAcK_Sw0rDsMaN I am doing pretty well, how are you? It’s pretty early here but I’m wide awake and ready to start my day off right!
It’s cool that you have been listening to instrumental tracks on Spotify. I have Spotify too, but I mostly just use it for J-pop music or music in Japanese, but I get pretty annoyed when it plays ads frequently, but I absolutely love making playlists on there. It has been a while since I made a playlist though.
I sometimes do listen to instrumental tracks, but they use different instruments; if I recall, it’s a few songs from a rhythm game I play and a video game song. I have been wanting to listen to some new music since I think the tracks I have in my rotation are pretty same-y. Still love them, but I want to find something new that I’ll love that isn’t just pop music.
I didn’t do much yesterday, I just really worked and made a lot of drawings. Pretty proud of them, but I didn’t use good reference pictures so they look slightly off.
@BlAcK_Sw0rDsMaN I had absolutely vile sleep but other than that I don’t know since I just woken up and haven’t gotten my tea yet.
I plan to beat final fantasy 1-6 sometime within the next three months specifically. But no clue how that will turn out. Know very little besides surface level complaints.
I plan to make chicken sometime within the weekend also. Weekend is where majority of my cooking happens. I eat homemade most of the time but most of it is light for time constraints.
