@themcnoisy
I don't think I've ever used the English opening, might have to give that one a try.
@LN78
Loved my Lego growing up, not sure I'd have managed in making a 7k piece model though, that sounds like quite the adventure.
@Ralizah
Sounds like a fun activity for the family, I think getting away from technology now and again is definitely worth doing. I've been trying to do that myself.
@LieutenantFatman Making bread. Baking is fun, and freshly baked homemade bread that's still warm is simply delicious. Others seemed to have had a similar idea, as yeast has been next to impossible to find in shops for weeks now.
@LN78 I saw the Batmobile set last year at my local Lego Store and was so tempted to get it cause that version of the Batmobile has always been my favorite. But then I got to thinking where do I have the room to put it together and then display it lol.
I’ve finally decided to make some actual progress on a game I’ve been working on in my free time for years. I think I’m going to do it properly this time, follow a proper methodology and with this much time on my hands, it’s better to do something useful. I’ve participated in loads of game jams but never really found one I was passionate enough about to expand upon. It’ll probably end up on the back burner again once Uni starts back in September but as of now, I’m all fired up. Still feels silly using Game Maker Studio when I have plenty coding experience but I haven’t found a better IDE for what I want to accomplish, Unity and UE4 are a lot better for 3D stuff. Who knows, if it ends up a hit I’ll make sure to send you lot copies 😉
@nessisonett Ok - if it is going to be the next Minecraft or Stardew I want in on the ground floor as publisher. Obviously I follow the EA or Take2 model, so if the game is successfull, I'll take credit, a chunk of the money and then eventually fire you from it and take the IP to someone else who can inject it with microtransactions. OR I'll just cancel it and close the studio.
@LN78 That is a thing of beauty. I have always wanted the Lego super Star Destroyer but way too much money and size.
Now I may be an idiot, but there's one thing I am not sir, and that sir, is an idiot
@Areus I really liked KOA Reckoning on PS3, enjoyed it, but didn't play too much, reminded me of Fable, in a good way.
"Preoccupied with a single leaf, you won’t see the tree. Preoccupied with a single tree, you’ll miss the entire forest. Don't be preoccupied with a single spot. See everything in its entirety...effortlessly. That is what it means...to truly "see." "
@nessisonett What sort of game are you working on? What can you tell us about it without fearing being ripped off?

@Rudy_Manchego Releasing one popular game and being swallowed up by a larger company, rushed towards a disappointing sequel and eventual closure is the dream!
@Draco_V_Ecliptic In vague terms, I’ve been working on a battle system that mixes run-and-gun gameplay with RPG elements. These games are make-or-break when it comes to how battles actually feel, I’ve played many an RPG where the random encounters just feel like a drag. It’ll be a lot of work getting it to a stage where it feels good enough and then I’ll have to work on all the art, story, music etc! A lot of work to be sure.
@Octane
In a parallel dimension, Sony went all in on portables, using advanced alien technology and we're all playing TLOU3 and a G-Police remake on our PS Vita 7s. It's glorious.
