@kyleforrester87 I have had to learn to be a bit more like that. There are a few games I played to completion, just because I had started it but now I will quit. For example, I wasn't going anywhere with Sekiro so stopped it.
@Foxy-Goddess-Scotchy Wow that is impressive to keep things moving on the backlog. It is probably the better way to be rather than constantly collecting.
Now I may be an idiot, but there's one thing I am not sir, and that sir, is an idiot
Proabably @Rudy_Manchego , but at least if If you fancy a change of pace you've got 175 other games to choose from!
I have four five (I forgot about Wild Arms 3 on PS4) that I haven't beat and about a hundred in my collection I've probably already played through at least twice each :')
Also might as well reply here to you seeing as I already a, rather then spread it out into the games you've beat topic too
I would try and borrow a PSVR unit if I can but the only other people I know who game is my nineteen year old daughter who doesn't have one & is halfway across the country at uni and a 25 year old colleague from work who's very casual about it.
Plus even if they did have one I'd feel a bit sad asking them seeing as I'm 13 years older then them 😅
So... C'est la vie!
But hey when the PS5 pops round maybe there'll be a PS-VR 2 and I'll be able to snag the original on the cheap
@Foxy-Goddess-Scotchy Don’t worry, I know no one in easily commutable distance with a PSVR or even remotely similar gaming tastes. It is why things forums like Push Square are so awesome!
Now I may be an idiot, but there's one thing I am not sir, and that sir, is an idiot
Just wished I'd found this place a bit sooner (Well... Realised there was a forum section at least, I'd known of PushSquare for a while!)
Never joined any other ones as they were a bit much... Push Square is pretty chill and friendly I really like that about this place
So thanks all of ya (Roger, Kyle, Ralizah, Solution, Kidfried, Johnny, Kal, Frigate, Noisy, Gremio, mooky, KratosMD + others I can't think of at the moment) for making me feel welcome!
@Foxy-Goddess-Scotchy That is what drew me to this place too, I was looking for a forum after one closed down and this had a similar vibe. Other sites were either too busy or toxic for much liking. Glad you are enjoying your time here!
Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
@Foxy-Goddess-Scotchy This place is generally rather nice. I like that there's not too much of the "this console is the best, all other consoles are awful" mentality here, and that we're just a group of people that enjoys playing various games.
If there is any of that talk as well @crimsontadpoles it seems to be pretty much all on the news articles so it's fairly easy to just ignore it/filter it out
Lol I am enjoying it @JohnnyShoulder and I think my partner is a little relieved as well that I don't gab on to her about gaming as much as well

Few hours ago I just jumped down of my old Focus after having smoke and flame coming out from the vents. When the firemen arrived the car was as already a pile of melted plastic and metal. 😓
@RogerRoger Thanks. Luckly it happened in a small road so nobody else get involved. But watching my car exploding and burning wasn't very comforting. I needed it for my job and now I have to waste money for something I already had...
@LN78 i know right, if it's not ready for launch then they should delay it until it is
i'm so sick of this "push it out and patch it later" mentality publishers and developers have now a days

@JohnnyShoulder@Frigate When we had "the Beast from the East" last year, it was a good week before we had milk and bread back on the shelves in Devon. It was crazy how people did panic buy but also how vulnerable this area was to a period of bad weather, let alone something like an actual hurricane!
@Frigate We need a hurricane setting for a video game. Have some kind of in game timer to collect provisions, build a survival plan, and then take on the storm. Afterwards it would convert into a post-catastrophe survival game where you defend your stash and rebuild.
....Actually I’m sure that’s already been done.

Been spending a lot of time playing 2D fighting games on arcade stick. After EVO this year, I've been hit with the fighting bug like crazy, and whenever I'm not working on the backlog, I've been training. The main games I want to play are Street Fighter, Guilty Gear, Dragon Ball FighterZ, and Under Night In-Birth (A.K.A. The one with the silly name). It's been an uphill climb, but hopefully I'll get better. Arcade stick takes some practice, but the precision is better than a controller.
