@KALofKRYPTON Yeah I had a platinum one too bought it when Soul Calibur II came out but it just stopped reading discs about 10 years ago. By that time I had my Wii so I just sold it to a local retro shop for parts. Still as I said its just easier to play GC on it then the Wii.
As for Spawn in Soul Calibur, I only played him a few times cause my friend had it on Xbox since he owned that instead of a Cube. When we were over at his house we would play that when he came over to mine we would play the GC version. From what I remember he had like a totally cheap attack with his cape that could be spammed over and over. Of course even on the GC version I rarely used Link, mostly played as Talim.

@Th3solution Nah could never get used to the arcade stick. Probably didn't give it enough time. I'm fine using the dual shocks with MKX and Injustice.
@WanderingBullet I don't think I would ever pay full price for a fighter, as I don't play it online it feels like I'm only getting half the game.
I was thinking of getting the extra stuff for Injustice 2 but I've not played it enough to warrant a purchase. Plus I'm not hugely into the DC stuff so feel it would be wasted a bit on me.

@Tasuki GameCube's are usually known for their high quality build and longevity. Mine's still working perfectly fine. You must've had incredibly bad luck I think!
@mookysam I dunno, check your nearby sushi restaurant, you may never know
@Rudy_Manchego i have both the Black and the Purple one and honestly i prefer the Purple one but that could also be because every damn electrical appliance when that came out was black so it made a nice change (still are in fact)

@KALofKRYPTON Yeah it was something like that. As I said though I never played him much. Although he was better then Heihachi.
@Octane Could be, although to be fair the others I bought as I said we're from thrift stores, flea markets and garage sales so who knows what previous owners did to them.

@Kidfried It’s a very cute avatar. Yeah, it takes some getting used to when people change their avatar pic but I like to change mine up too sometimes to reflect either the game I’m currently playing or my current mood.
“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”
@Kidfried@RogerRoger Just as I've gotten used to everyone's avatars you start changing it around! This is of no help! Just kidding, your new avatars look great.
@Kidfried It's because the OP posted in a foreign language. I know you want to help but also I don't want to encourage them for breaking a rule. I am sure they will see my post and then repost the problem in English.
@KratosMD I feel you. I have trouble with finishing games, and it bothers me. I have trouble starting something new and it nags at me when I don't finish something. I mean, I don't need to finish everything, but at the same time, when I look back at games, I feel like I appreciate the ones I beat more than the ones I didn't. Of course, there may also be a reason I finished it too, but I feel like something is missing if I don't. Half-complete stories I think are the main issue I think. I agree completely about platinums. I've never intentionally gotten a platinum. There are just too many games for that.
I kind of want both though, to just let go of not finishing games, but also to just buckle down and finish them. So instead, I get neither.
@KratosMD I'm a big believer of only playing games until they are fun. I don't see the point of playing games just to complete them if you are not enjoying the experience. Sure games will sometimes have certain levels or sections which you don't enjoy, which sometimes you can grit your teeth and get through until the next enjoyable section.
I think I'm at that stage with Monster Hunter World. The main gameplay is awesome, but it feels like I'm doing the same thing over and over again, just with different monsters. Which I'm finding a bit of a drag tbh.

@JohnnyShoulder@KratosMD I feel the same way about Monster Hunter World. It's a bit better with friends but in the end it still feels the same. I am not sure how people hold this game in such high regards with such repetitive gameplay, but as they say to each their own.

@Tasuki Honestly it has WAY less content than 3 Ultimate and 4 Ultimate which I feel were somewhat better games not even taking into account how much more content they had compared to World.
@Kidfried I'm the same actually. As I've got older (in my 30's) I don't feel pressure to quickly move on from title to title or play lots of games at once. It's nice to finish what I play and just go at a pace that allows me to properly enjoy them. I'm happy to wait until Christmas for Red Dead Redemption 2 and Spider-Man.
