@BearsEatBeets 😂 exactly that. And yeah, this one fits my feeling that by this kind of 'era' I was just done with this kind of movie release. I don't mind a bad movie, some mindless popcorn blockbusters or whatever, but this was more the kind of bad that I find hard to justify wasting 2 hours on 😅
And if that was this generations 'Jaws' it makes worry for the future of cinema/mankind 😂
@Ravix Sometimes that kind of mindless spectacle can fine if it's unique enough and you're in the right mood. But you're right, that wasn't one. Of similar note I watched the 5th Transformer movie last night, 'The Last Knight', out of curiosity as I has never seen that one. Wish I hadn't bothered, one of the most moronic, vomit explosions at the screen dross I've seen in a long time. To be honest I don't know what else I was expecting from the series but just fancied something simple to watch in bed.
@BearsEatBeets Michael Bay hurts my eyes and my brain in general, whether the movie is good, bad or middling, I just can't be dealing with him at all. So I guess I know what you mean on that one 😅 him and Snyder are the ones to avoid, for me

@Ravix yeah I almost had a guess at the first pic until noticing the structure in the background didn't match. After that I was skipping with no clue until the final one made it obvious.
Ooh, lucky guess also. I went from pic 1 guess of Transcendence, to pondering mob films, but giving up that idea and going for the comedy set in the place it shows instead.
@Ravix Yeah one of the easiest ones yet. I started by typing the 'franchise' name in the title but it showed me without so went with that. Did it basically just not accept the answer for you?
@BearsEatBeets I mean, partial user error and stubbornness, but also bad database options. I started typing the full title, as you do, and I clicked on Star Wars episode V, and it kept saying it was wrong. I didn't think to use the subtitle/what it is more commonly known as, as it was showing Star Wars Episode V as an option without the end bit 🤷♂️ it didn't show The Empire Strikes Back as a subtitle either. I later realised manually starting with The Empire was the way to go. But still not sure why Star Wars Episode V was an option but then also wrong 😂 surely it is the only one called that haha. But yeah, just a weird observation. I was surprised at how obvious pic one was too,.could have had some scenery without a force ghost 😅

@Ravix I always use the link from previous days to go to the website and noticed they have changed starting picture for yesterday's. Maybe they have fixed the answer(s) too.
I nearly bought this one today. Must have really been a while since I've seen it as I was struggling to pick any clues out, and couldn't place the kids it showed.
Not my taste. Well I don't think so, anyway, which is why I've never seen this. I have actually picked up a few of this actors' movies recently, however, so maybe I should just for the sake of seeing it.
That has got to be the most non-descript first 2 pictures I've seen in this quiz. I've not seen this but I've been meaning to watch it for a long time (got it on DVD ages ago). Thankfully recognised the awesome actor in 5th pic.
Not seen it. And agree pic 2 is especially egregious!? I just guessed Blair Witch as it was some twigs haha but I knew the filter / colour grading was wrong for that. No idea how I got it from 3, suppose the genre clue was good 🤷♂️
