Jesus several Corona Virus survivors here in the US have been murdered and police believe it was because people were fearful they could still spread the virus...

@Octane That is exactly what happened here in Italy days ago and now you can't leave your home without demonstrating to the police your needs. If you have no real reason to leave home, you get a fine and a criminal complaint.

Praise the Sun, and Mario too.

@RR529 Don't worry, the virus can't survive on its own. Your package is safe.

@themcnoisy Probably, but it's expected that there was an intermediate host. So definitely a combination of factors.

@andreoni79 I'm already pretty much locked up in my apartment. The measures have been extended at uni until somewhere in May. I don't know how much longer this can last like this TBH. Some say it's coming back later this year. I wonder, what if it does? Or if a similar virus crops up next year? We can't lock up most of the word for three months straight every year.

@TowaHerschel7 have you got a source for that Rukky?

@Octane exactly mate. We are putting everyone into lock down when the at risk group are predominantly 70 plus. Political correctness goes out of the window here, especially as they are Still mingling in cafes and supermarkets. People in the 'should be fine' group are having their liberties taken away which millions of people died for already! By 76 year old Bob with his warped spine, bad hips, tachycardic heart and a penchant for fisherman's friends.

They are asking for it. My mum is safely away, my father in law with diabetes won't see daylight for the next 3 months. What makes Gladys with her purple rinse and push trolley so special?

They need to stay at home and let the fit and healthy lead a normal life.

Had a weird conversation today with a child minder and school teacher. Selfishness off the scale. Talking about key workers and they were both like, nope we should all be off we can manage. Absolutely ridiculous.

This issue is opening my eyes more and more to what people are really like.

@themcnoisy Most of my friends are super cautious, to the point where they suggested not meeting for the coming weeks. But it's the boomers and the grannies that ignore every safety measure, all the parents that let their children play outside and roam the streets that are probably the main cause of the spread at the moment.

Italian hospitals are collapsing because of Covid-19. My hometown has a population of only 40.000 but there's already a field hospital near the main one now. In north Italy the army had to move to other cities the coffins of the victims because the morgues are full and we are having more dead then China.
I really hope the rest of Europe and the Usa won't underestimate the problem. And no one knows what will happen when it will spread in Africa, India and Russia...

@andreoni79 stay safe and thoughts to you and your family! I work in healthcare in uk, staggering lack of concern from some. When this takes off, it will be horrific.

@RR529 @Octane Our COVID-19 returns process for material that is potentially exposed is to store it for 72 hours. After that time the virus should be dead.

@Ryall A bit excessive, but it'll do the job

@andreoni79 glad you are safe Reoni. Thanks for the advice, seeing the foot of Europe facing this monumental issue - we will definitely take it more serious.

So the Tories are implementing socialism and there’s 0 controversy from boomers. This is what Coronavirus is doing to the UK 😂😂😂

Plumbing’s just Lego innit. Water Lego.

@nessisonett Spoke to a positively tested coronavirus victim today. A few days ago he was bouncing on site. Today, Errr, not so much. Sounded terrible on the phone. I called as his parcel shelf was left on site. Really hard for him to talk and he's only a young lad, deep cough, sounded drained.

Corona is starting to feel a bit too close to home.

My mum has finally been convinced to stay at home. Along with with asthma she has diabetes and a low immune system. This was after me, my sis and bro all had spoken to her over the phone and messaging her all week. Had to get my dad to speak to her as she was being a bit stubborn. She finally took notice when her local surgery phoned her up to detail all of this and explain she is more at risk. And she will also have to have a vaccination against shingles. Because it is a live one they want to wait until the virus is over. So phew, one thing less to worry about.

Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

@RogerRoger sorry mate. I hope its man flu. If its not, then keep hydrated, let the fever do the work, rest and have a full phat remote man hug from me.

@JohnnyShoulder your fam has done the correct thing Johnny. She will be in the very at risk group. Good work.

@RogerRoger @themcnoisy Cheers guys. Yeah she doesn't go out that much any way as she doesn't work anymore. Alarms bells started to ring when I found out she had volunteered for a few bits, and this was after I last spoke to her.

They can go on walks as long as they keep thier distance and stuff. They live in a little village so they do not come across many people. Just last time they bumped into a younger group (they are both 73) of people and they started chatting to them. Knowing my Dad he would be shaking their hands and stuff.

It's been a frustrating week as when my mum digs her heels in sometimes she will not listen to anything and common sense goes out the window. Hopefully they have come to thier senses now.

@RogerRoger Feel better soon, friend.

@nessisonett LOL Republicans in my country are supporting stuff like federal paid sick leave and mailing money out to poor and middle class people now. This from the same people who regarded a federal mandate to buy health insurance as "socialism."

@themcnoisy Apparently in Italy, some recovered patients have permanent lung damage, even some younger patients. People underestimate the unknown of something like a bit too much. Never panic, but understand that we don't know a lot means other problems can arise we didn't know about at first.

@RogerRoger I hope you can get tested and feel better soon, hate to hear about anyone hear having it and suffering from it.
