@colonelkilgore Yeah the single issues are a couple of years old by now I think. I was having look on Google play, and there are 4 issues per volume it seems, and there are separate stories in each volume.
Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
@JohnnyShoulder nice dude, it’s so difficult to keep them in good-nick though ain’t it.
I don’t really have any of worth apart from a few Giant size X-men tucked away under the stairs. It’s gonna be interesting to see the state on them when I did them out during the upcoming house move.
@JohnnyShoulder yeah mine are from the 80’s too… my mum picked them up in a charity shop for me around 20 years ago. Then around 7 years ago I was doing a car-boot sale and they were part of my wares. A guy who was looking through my stuff (& bought bought some) took a look inside the covers and said “You don’t wanna sell these pal, they’re worth something!”.
I vaguely remember googling it at the time and think they were worth around £100 each… which wasn’t enough to get my ‘juices flowing’, so I just packed them away. Might look at it again when the MCU finally get around to releasing an X-men movie. It may boost the price a little.
been awhile since ive been to the comic book shop like last year.
Recently just found out about the new horror comic from Image Comics called Slumber. its about cops going up against a dream demon monster sort of like Freddy Krueger
@KidBoruto whoops! My first time seeing it, didn't realise they had done some stories already. Saw it was a first issue and thought it was something new.
@BearsEatBeets Thanks for posting that. I still need to buy the 3 previous books as I love Bloodborne and Piotr Kowalski's art Is fantastic. Not to familiar with Ales Kot, But I loved The Sixth Gun. So Cullen Bunn writing the new one is exciting news.
@BearsEatBeets Yeah I got 3 or 4 volumes of the Bloodborne comic book run. I really should get back to finish it as I've enjoyed it so far. It good to know it is still going!
What favorite series does everyone like? I could use a new one to read between books. I really enjoyed: Sandman (Gaiman was just in town for a chat, can't wait for the show!), Saga, RatQueens, Fables, and Lucifer to name a few.
@LN78@Elodin I love Saga, have all the new issues but going to do a re-read before I jump back in. Same with most comics. Because of gaming I'm well behind, I have quite the backlog of novels/comics and t.v. shows and films. Time to put down the Dualsense and sit and read more often.
