Favorite FPS game of all time?

A very difficult question - especially as I have had a lot of these over the years. Goldeneye certainly was a favourite but I can't play it nowadays and it still has a very special place with me - like the original Perfect Dark too. I loved the original Halo (2 and 3 as well) but I think that felt dated when I tried to play it on the MCC. I loved Killzone 2's Campaign and the Resistance series as they offered something 'different' with its weaponry. CoD is probably my favourite MP but some are better than others and going back to 'older' but higher rated ones, also show up their flaws by modern version standards too - things that over the years have been tweaked or removed permanently. The Treyarch games also have Zombies which I love too. Games like Bioshock and the latest Wolfenstein I rate very highly - BioShock was one of my favourite games of last gen and I think its game-play still holds up now. Destiny is by far my most played though and the game-play mechanics are excellent but I don't enjoy the MP.

Overall its far too difficult to pick my favourite of all time - its like trying to pick my favourite movie, song or even child. Things that I loved about older games have been significantly bettered today but I can't deny that those games at that time were some of my greatest experiences. I doubt I would be playing FPS MP's if it wasn't for Goldeneye

EDIT:- whilst typing out that someone else answered, so to answer their question - I don't have a favourite youtuber - I use youtube for 'information' and NOT watch anyone specific - particularly 'game-play' videos! Why watch someone else play games when I can be playing games myself?

Do you own (or want to get) a 4K TV?

I don't and not at the moment, no. Unless 4K resolution becomes the norm/common.

With all the superheroes movies coming out in 2016, which do you think will the best and the worst?

The next X-men will be good, but I'm honestly getting tired of the superhero movies, and I'm sure many others are starting too as well. I'd really like for a new Batman movie with Michael Keaton playing him again and done by Tim Burton (but that will never happen again)...maybe at least get Jack Nicholson to reprise his role as the Joker and Danny Devito as the Penguin.

Question: Will Nintendo's next console be a hit, or will it be another Gamecube/Wii U system and lack all 3rd party support and barely raise numbers?

I expect the next Nintendo will be an upgraded WiiU in effect - relying on its 1st party and 'unique' video game followers to sell. I can't see them wanting to make a PS4/XB1 rival and so will end up making something 'different' with some unique peripheral - as well as keeping the motion and screen that the WiiU has. Maybe adding in some extra functionality. It will still tempt some 3rd party development because it will offer something others don't have/do but I don't think it will get all the 'mainstream' releases. I think its too late for Nintendo to try and rival the PS4/XB1 and if they did, it could lose out. So many people own these 2, the appeal for many is the fact is that it is 'different'

If you could pick just 1 game from the past 10 years to define console gaming, what would it be and why?

As silly as it sounds Wii Sports. It showed that console gaming can be for everyone not just gamers.

What game was your biggest disappointment in 2015?

It has to be Star Wars: Battlefront - visually impressive but lacks so much - not just in content but actual game-play. Compared to the older Battlefronts as well as modern day FPS, this is so basic/shallow, lacks any tactical or team-work play etc and made worse by the lack of meaningful other content - like Campaign.

What do you thing Sony need to improve and what do you think they need to add to make the PS4 the ultimate console for ALL gaming?

In my eyes, they need to improve PSN and add external HDD support... But that's my opinion

@BAMozzy: Easy - they need to improve PSN's stability, then add all of the features everybody's wanting, like PSN ID changing, a folder/file system, appearing offline etc...

Which one feature on another company's console (the Xbox, Wii etc) would you add to the PS4?

@Anchorsam_9: I think an equivalent of Miiverse on PS4 would be neat. Like, a sort of dedicated discussion board about each game, where you can write comments, share screenshots, send messages etc - it would work well with the Share button.

If you could only play one game forever, what game would you pick?

World of Warcraft easily there is so much to do in that game.

@Quintumply: Doesnt the communities kinda do all that stuff though? I don't know what MiiVerse looks like but you've kinda described the communities a bit

What do you think will be the biggest disappointment in gaming next year?

@Hego: Final Fantasy 15 - its gonna be ship. The scenes, demo and clips of the script have been cheesy and boring. I'm sure the game will be an ok package - but the writing in 13-2 was so devoid of soul I have zero confidence. FF15 is treading a similar path so far and unless they employ Shakespeare I cant see it getting much better.

@TripleGK: I hope the battlefield game coming at the end of the year surprises me by being a sequel to 2142 man that game was awesome so underrated.

No Mans Sky Hyped or not hyped?

I'm hyped for it, but not through the roof. I think it could have great potential, but also end up ending pretty average.
Do you prefer open word RPGs, or more structured, but still non-linear? (I didn't describe that very well so here are examples: think Skyrim open world, as opposed to be Betheseda RPG like KOTOR, where it's very open ended and explorable, but not open wolrd.)

Depends what I am in the mood for really. I love open world RPGs particularly WoW (I am still trying to find a game that grabs me as much as WoW though I may have found it in Dragon Age Inquisition) but sometimes I just want something more structured.
