I think the 80's but some of my all-time favourites came at the end of the 70's (Star Wars, Alien) - Alien was the film I was thinking of when I asked that question as the computers in that seem so very dated...

What game release of 2016 do you think has the potential to deliver the biggest surprise? (better than many people are predicting/expecting)

80s - Scarface, Terminator, Aliens, Goonies, Full Metal Jacket, Predator, Batman (Michael Keaton), Rocky 4, Blade Runner and Akira!

Best Sports kit of all time?

Edit @BAMozzy got in before me. Good point in the tech in films - the future retro look was the main selling point for the game Alien Isolation and albeit I can understand the want to alter it with our understanding of digital technology these days - but I love it. I prefer it in many ways, green screen monitors, hundreds of flashing lights, big data banks etc etc. In many ways an evolution of frigates (of the maritime kind) from that era.

To answer your question the Witness and I also think the time is right for Doom to make a comback! It will be Wolfenstein on steroids just like the 90s all over again!

Question - best sports kit of all time?

@themcnoisy: That's a really hard one, but it's probably the Liverpool third kit for 2011/12. It looked very minimalistic and cool, though Portugal's away shirt from Euro 2012 also looked pretty good too.

Which sequel of a game would you erase from existence, and how would you make it better?

@Anchorsam_9: Super monkey ball adventure - man the first game was brilliant, second was good but not as good level design, the adventure monkey ball was possibly the worst way the game could of gone. From super quick levels with skill needed for the GameCube originals the ps2 game became a chore to play, unresponsive due to frame rate issues and terrible level design.

Screwball Scramble or Hungry Hippos?

Hungry Hippos...one of the best games that I remember playing as a child...still remember when it first came out (yup, that old). Okay, next question:
Which video game company will still be alive (meaning around making consoles) 30 years from now...Sony or Nintendo???

It's hard to say now. I am sure that those companies will be around but will console gaming? They way it seems now is gaming will evolve to devices that aren't dedicated gaming consoles but multimedia devices. And those two companies are great at evolving as well.

Did your NFL team make the playoffs?

No as I don't have a NFL team and couldn't even tell you more than a few teams - no idea if they are successful or not.

What games are you looking to buy in the next 2-3 months?

Street Fighter V.

Maybe Gravity Rush Remastered, Naruto 4, and The Division.

Do you think having a tech genius in their story plot in superheroes tv series like for example The Flash, Arrow and Supergirl is a good or a bad thing?

Depends in Arrow and Flash case each is a good support character in Arrows case love interest in Flash comic relief. Can't say anything about Supergirl cause I can't watch it. Stupid CBS.

Yes, I have been to baseball, hockey, basketball, soccer, & football.

Sweet - I like mince pies - now have to wait until next christmas to buy these again, savoury - chicken and bacon/ham pies.

@BAMozzy: I've never tried it but it sounded awful, so it's definitely up there.

Personally not for me and no character would sell me on a sequel!

@Anchorsam_9: The Virtual Boy gave me terrible migraines after a very brief use! It was definitely a health hazard from my perspective! I would certainly pick Xbox over Nintendo as it has a far greater library of games that interest me - even if a lot are available on PS too.

@BAMozzy: Rocky, I love every film even the maligned Rocky 5.

Lots of old stuff. It is a museum after all.

What could be the weakest game next year?

I don't think No Mans Sky is going to be as exciting (rather boring I think) as many people expect but whether that makes it weak or not is up for interpretation. Far Cry Primal doesn't look great to me - certainly in terms of setting and 'story' and could be the weakest too - again depends on how you interpret and classify a 'weak' game.
