Bought the following games during Black Friday (also including other platforms but most of the games are PS5):
Mario & Luigi: Brothership
Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition
Star Wars Outlaws
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
Resident Evil 4 Remake
Astro Bot
Death Stranding 2
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii
Metaphor: ReFantazio
The Pathless
Eternights
Steins;Gate Elite (PS4 version, which includes Linear Bounded Phenogram)
And lastly, 1 year of PS+ Premium.
I'm very happy with these purchases, which cost in total around €450. Been waiting for most of these games to go on sale and I haven't bought many games in general this year, so I really felt like going all out on this year's Black Friday.
I think the first game I'll check out will be Astro Bot, but that will probably have to wait until Christmas.
@graymamba Thanks mate! I have a lot of catching up to do as I haven't bought many games these past few years. Not to mention that PS+ has been really good this year, with additions like Alan Wake 2, so I haven't felt a need to buy many games.
The risk is that some or a lot of these games that I bought might be added to PS+ throughout the coming year, but I bought e.g. Astro Bot and Death Stranding 2 because I really want to play them as soon as possible.
I saw that you also bought Astro Bot. Hope you'll enjoy that game as well.
@LtSarge yeah, I hope I end up liking it half as much as most people seem to have. It’s not really my bag in all honesty… but I did enjoy my time with Astro’s Playroom and My GPU continues to be one of my favourite gaming songs ever!
Crow Country Raging Loop Loop8: Summer Of Gods Needy Streamer Overload Ace Attorney Trilogy (I played this on plus extra last year but only the first title) Apollo Justice AA Trilogy Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective (A puzzle gane by the Ace Attorney director I believe) Croc: Legend Of the Gobbos - Platinum Edition Crystar New Super Lucky's Tale
For just shy of £92 overall. Pretty good haul I'd say (Minus loop8 which even at £4.49 I wouldn't recommend to even my worst enemies)
@LtSarge Have you not already played the Resident Evil 4 Remake? Surprised to see it in your haul with an Ada Wong profile picture! Maybe just a different platform? Either way, a great game for sure and enjoy it whether it's a replay or not. Separate Ways was also such a fantastic DLC for the Ada fans amongst us! Would also love to hear your thoughts on Metaphor: ReFantazio when you eventually get around to it. Happy gaming!
@HallowMoonshadow Yeah I'm not expecting much from this game but I do think it'll be a nice palate cleanser whenever I want to play a relatively shorter experience. I'm mostly looking forward to the character interactions.
@Tjuz I can see why you would think that, haha. I've played the remastered version of the original RE4 on PS4 but I haven't played the remake. I watched a trailer for the remake before it came out and when I saw Ada, I just had to have her as my profile pic. So yeah, it'll be my first time playing Remake.
Speaking of Separate Ways, I was planning on buying the Gold Edition of Remake to get the DLC as well. But it cost twice as much as the base game and the DLC isn't even included on the disc. I saw that the DLC is available for roughly a tenner on the PS Store, so I figured I might as well get it later on!
Metaphor looks really awesome, so I'll be sure to share my thoughts whenever I get around to it.
Not a big haul for me, just Star Wars Outlaws and an Astrobot controller.
Was tempted by the Pro and a PSVR2 (as a spare headset) as both were cracking prices.
@LtSarge Ah, that makes a lot of sense! Why get a lower fidelity picture of Ada Wong when you have a high-fidelity one directly at your disposal?! I hope you really enjoy the remake! It's the only version of 4 I've played, so I can't compare anything to say if it's as enjoyable for someone familiar with the title as it is for someone new to it... but I've only heard good things from returning players. Hope it'll be the same for you! I'm sure I don't have to tell you, but yes, definitely get the DLC when you get around to the remake. It's practically as long as the entire RE3 Remake and I loved it! They definitely seemed to have done it justice in remaking it.

@BeyondKnight Let me know what you think when you get around to playing Life is Strange: Double Exposure! It's the only one in the series I haven't played yet, so I'm intrigued to see what people think before diving into it myself.
A bit late, but since a lot of the Black Friday sales are still going on and almost about to end, I decided to treat myself to some games I've been meaning to buy or try out for a while. This is the haul:
Cronos: The New Dawn
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
NieR: Automata
Steel Seed
Little Goody Two Shoes
News Tower
Excited to get to all of these eventually, but I think I'll have to prioritise Cronos: The New Dawn. @Metonymy has sparked my interest too much! NieR: Automata I'm aware is loved by many on here, so it'll have to push up the queue as well. Ratchet & Clank I enjoyed when I played the PS4 remake of the first game, so I'm intrigued to get into the sequel. Should be a fun time. The others I don't know all that much about other than the basics, so if anyone here is a huge fan of any of them, let me know!
@Tjuz Nice! Really hope you enjoy The Warden’s musings as much as I did (I promise this will make sense) and if not, NeiR: Automata is a certified narrative wonder so now that I’ve said that, I’ll just take credit for whichever one sticks the landing for you 😄

@Metonymy Hahaha, take all the credit that you can (and people will let you get away with)! Let's hope both stick the landing, so you can truly brag like no other. 😜
@gratmamba
Nice. Deadly tower of monsters is great, very underrated despite being a PS+ game back in the day plus it will certainly appeal to fans of the old movies.
In an effort to balance my shelves, I picked up a cheap physical copy of the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection rather than pay for the digital upgrade on my PS4 discs. I'd been hankering a replay of The Lost Legacy for a while anyway, and saw it going for the right price.
