I went on a shopping spree lately after a while and bought Resident Evil 2, 3, 4, 7 and 8, Rise of the Ronin, Spider-man 2, TES IV Oblivion and that's it. My last purchase was 2 years ago
@Dai_e_vai Say goodbye to the rest of your year. Or perhaps that's why it's been two years? Did you do the same thing two years ago then play them for those two years and then restock? Or have you been using Plus+ for your most recent titles?

No PS+ for me ! But you're right I do buy 5 to 10 games in one go at reasonable prices - I don't mind waiting a few years after release - and these games will keep me busy at least 4 to 5 months 😁 what's your most recent purchase ?
@Dai_e_vai My purchases are kind of the opposite, I approach it as a collector. My most recent PS5 one would Crimson Desert and I have no regrets there. My most recent retro (I collect retro for preservation) would be four maybe five boxes (lots is the word I see online) of PS2 and PS3 games and that's a weekly thing. The ironic part is that I tend to use Plus+ more than anything else and it really boils down to choice. I have too much choice and usually throw my hands up 'I don't know what to play' so instead I ask for recommendations on here and Plus+ often figures into those too. Folks seem to avail from subscription services meaning there's a sense of community there when a small or large group of people are playing that same Plus+ title and are either talking about it there and then or have fond memories themselves.
I'm probably a decade behind on those big well known titles but I'm enjoying the journey. The kind of patience you have for price is the kind of patience I have for games like God of War, Uncharted, The Last of Us, etc, I should be trying them but there's nothing inside telling me to do it right now. Netflix is the same way, I should be watching season two of DareDevil (which was years ago) I just don't feel any kind of rush to do it. The same for Game of Thrones and all of the others, I'll get to them eventually.

You're going at your own pace and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that ! Enjoy what you want as long as it brings you joy, whether it's a 20 years old game or show.
I will also play Crimson Desert eventually, in a few years probably 😂
