Nice, I hope you enjoy it plus that price is a cracking bargain.
I’m actually playing RE4 atm and it is fantastic in VR, great to wield a knife in one hand and a gun in the other plus it has loads of replay ability,
You might want to keep an eye out for Hitman VR next March.

I haven’t played Red Matter 2 but I did enjoy RM1 which had a free upgrade from psvr. Looks great in the new headset and is a good walking sci-fi puzzle game. Pretty good if you have dodgy VR sickness.
My favourite games are RE4,RE8,GT7, Puzzling Places, Vertigo 2 (a single person developed game, a bit rough), Switchback (a Rush of blood spiritual sequel but tbh not as good) and Saints and Sinners (discounted upgrade from psvr1).
I have a few others which are in the backlog Star Wars (demo on store), Ultrawings 2 and Townsman.
Next month should be great with Behemoth and Aliens but I’m really looking forward to Hitman. I actually installed and started playing Hitman on psvr1 a week before the announcement so I put that on hold and thankfully had only completed the first level of hitman1.
Look out for some psn sales as there can be some cheap deals, which is why I have a vr backlog.
Plus check out the store for a few demos, unfortunately not enough imo.

That is how I own Saints and sinners plus the PSVR2 version will not be tied to PS+ (great for me as mine has expired).
It is a really good game, one of the best and the psvr2 upgrade is well done. Both games are on PS Plus Premium.

Yeah I was thinking about Premium as the lure of those VR games and PS3 games was pretty high but I had Extra for a couple of years and yes it is great (as long as it contains loads you want to play) but you do feel like you are gaming 24/7, so for the first time in about 14 years I’ve gone PS+ cold turkey. Might resub at Easter on Essential but I’ve no desire to do even that atm.
No real advice on VR, yes the sweet spot is small but with that headset it is a trade off. My one pet hate is the boundary box, I play VR sitting down and even though I have the boundary box on low it still appears every so often...it doesn’t prevent anything but just it’s appearance is annoying. They had it in Hitman on psvr and thankfully iOi listened and added an option but Sony refuse to do so (as they don’t listen).
That is my main gripe along with the lack of ported games (I miss wipeout, farpoint and until dawn) from VR1 which is the reason it took me over a year to buy the headset. Sony are infuriating atm, in all divisions tbh.

Yeah you can do that but frankly I can’t be bothered as (I 5ink) you need to do that at the start of every session and I just want to bung the headset on and go. I’ve had to change the floor height for the odd game as I play seated and even that is too much. 😂

What a pain and yes this country grinds to a halt although it is grim out there for some.
Anyway, almost forgot No mans sky which looks great in the headset.....plus it is much improved on Pro (apparently , I haven’t got one).
Finally saw a half-decent deal on Spider-man 2… that **** been holding like Nintendo. £35 in the Black Friday sale. So picked that up and also got Thief on PS4. Playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution recently, reminded me how much I enjoy the odd immersive-sim here and there.

Nice. I haven’t bought Spidey 2 yet or GOW Rak, Sony seem to be trying the Nintendo approach and keeping prices high but that Nintendont work with me.

And Thief hey? I quite liked it but it has annoying design choices which is probably why it reviewed so so. Not too difficult trophy wise and quite a few ultra rare trophies which I always like, just be sure to keep a pen and paper handy when playing to track various things as the game won’t provide the stats for you (it is not too bad but badly designed, very much like Deus Ex which shouldn’t be surprising).
@CaptD yeah it was you mentioning Thief a couple of months back that put it in mind tbh. Never really knew much about it but once I knew it was an immersive-sim, I thought it might be something I’d like. Then when I played Deus Ex… (which was the first immersive-sim I’ve played in about 3 years tbh), I realised that I need to start playing more of them as they’re a great change of pace from my usual stuff. Gonna try and play one a year moving forward.
@Bob_Salat in all honesty mate gawd knows when I’ll actually play it, so I probably could’ve waited for a deeper sale in future… but I have an itchy trigger finger 👈

You might want to check out Prey if you like immersive and a bit of sci fi. It is usually pretty cheap these days and also included in a nice Arkane collection bundle with Dishonoured.
