Topic: With GTA5 Coming To PS5, What About Backwards Compat

I know it's been a few weeks now since it was announced, but has anyone questioned the backwards compatibility of this game from PS4. I mean they are basically releasing a pc version (again) that just supports more graphical features and higher resolution. But what about the disc version off PS4 and digital versions of you bought it, will it also work?.

Or is this R* attempt at p****** gamers off with sorry you need to play the ps5 version. And I find it stupid to give exclusive rights to the online for one console when if they wanted to make it better they'd open the game up to cross play and cross save.

Yes I noticed that as well which basically means I think that you will need ps+ to play the separate online version of the game (I think)

I'm hoping Rockstar is trolling us and when it does come out next year it'll have vastly improved graphics.

I just think that if it's only a straight port it would be coming out at launch rather than next year.

@Bentleyma- Rockstar have already confirmed the re-release will boast “a range of technical improvements, visual upgrades, and performance enhancements to take full advantage of the latest hardware”.

@JohnnyShoulder I'm hoping for Red Dead Redemption 2 quality graphics. They've had a couple of years to do it.

I doubt they will update the engine for GTA5 it will cost to much money on TTs eyes

I've have bought GTA5 two times now and i guess i will be buying it for a third time on PS5.

No wonder the game never leaves the charts lol 😁
