I got the same email from GAME regarding Yodel. Fingers crossed for everyone. I just recieved a text from GAME saying it is with the carrier. So I am a bit more optimistic than I was about an hour go.
Brothers and sisters...
What a ***** show this has turned into.
The wording of the Yodel email has a lot of may this and may that.
As someone said, they are covering backs for inevitable complaints. Which will still come regardless of a last minute email excuse.
Am I surprised? Not at all.
Disappointed? Certainly.
So we will all sit n wait.
Good luck to you all.
If anyone gets it no agro tomorrow I raise a glass to you.
And commiserations to any that don't.
Do I want mine tomorrow? You bet.
But if it's Friday or even Saturday, ah well, worse things at sea and all that caper.......
TBH i dont mind waiting an extra day but its the fact its YODEL where u have a 30% chance of it arriving fine and 70% chance of it damaged :/ they r just so untrustworthy
Email from Game.co.uk....
"However, for reasons beyond the control of GAME, YODEL have informed us today (18th November) that not all orders due to be delivered by them will be delivered on release day. This is due to capacity issues in their delivery network and may mean that your tracking information is not fully updated until Friday."
Finally got a tracking number from Amazon, it's being delivered by Amazon Logistics. Which in my experience means it can turn up at any time from 7am to 10pm within the next two days. Quite likely when I'm out dropping the kids at school.
@Haruki_NLI oddly enough ive been spammed with money off discounts for ps5 and ps4 games which makes me think they know they have ballsed things up and the chance of getting my ps5 on launch quite slim
@SJBUK same here just got to give the wife a run to work first thing then spend the day listening out for the door knock, also waiting on my PSVR adapter although they did say between 3-6 business days so it won't be far away!
We wanted to follow up on our previous communication to you around YODEL deliveries to confirm that the vast majority of orders will be delivered tomorrow with any outstanding orders being delivered on Friday.
All the information and updates on the progress of your order can be found in your tracking information. Please continue to check the email address you used to place your order with.
Estimated times for your YODEL delivery will be sent to you on the day of delivery. The Customer Service teams (both GAME and YODEL) are unable at this time to provide any additional information that has not already been provided to you.

Part of the email I had yesterday from Base.com.As you can imagine I was thrilled to think I was receiving it a day early..but alas,no PS5.And what's worse I don't even know WHICH courier is being used and have no tracking number either.
I think, I hope, that the local YODEL hubs' night-shift are working across the UK sorting the logistics of who is gonna get it tomorrow or Friday.
Loading the vans for tomorrow morning.
My next big hope is that in the early hours, I and many many more of you, get the emails with tracking and timeslots.
Like 5:30am or some sillyness.
Will I have my phone on mute? Not tonight.
Distance to hub and what-not probably be a factor.
Me, I'm 9.4 miles from Basildon hub.
So 2 things need to have happened.
That each of our nearest hubs have received them from where ever they were centrally, or even on route to them NOW, and that there IS a night-shift for this to follow through.
Me again!! It's 1am, yes I know I'm sad🤣🤣🤣
but me phone just went ping, email, from GAME customer services, blah blah "your PS5 is due to be delivered tomorrow" ok I thinks, does that mean Friday as the email was after midnight...
But there was a link "you can track the status here"
Pressed it, and fook me it actually took me to Yodel and had a pre-populated page WITH MY TRACKING NUMBER!!!!
Says delivery estimate 19th!
Ok so I scroll down a bit for item journey or whatnot, and it left Hatfield hub, near St Alban's at 1pm on Wednesday 18th.
So it should be at Basildon by now........
I do hope loads of you are getting same email from GAME.
I need a lie down in a dark room now.
Oh, I am.
In that case I might give the Mrs a nudge.. I'm all excited 😁😁
I think GAME's emails caused a big brahohaha. Yodel probably didn't appreciate it lol. My PS5 is at my local depot now waiting for delivery so I guess I will get it tomorrow afterall.
Considering they sent a follow up email, maybe they should have worded the first a bit differently - "a very small number of orders will be delivered on Friday". Would have caused a lot less panic.
My PS5 was delivered to the Aberdeen depot early morning so it's close 😊. Keeping my fingers crossed for all of you guys and girls getting it from Yodel!
It was all fine until 7:29 this morning then it said there were "external" problems that might cause a delay. Unless there's an enormous traffic jam that runs for dozens of miles, or loads of roads in the Midlands have suddenly collapsed into sinkholes, I don't see how the problem could be external rather than Amazon screwing up by not having enough drivers or something. It's in Worcester apparently, which is a 39 minute drive away according to Google Maps.
Mine is out for delivery, just waiting for my delivery slot.
My mate in Sheffield who chose in store pick up, went earlier this morning to GAME to avoid the queues and the store was already open, so he has already has his. The swine.
