Also went all the way through Echoing Ruins and beat Hyperion! That was a cool boss fight! I had under half my first health bar but a parasite healing me at low health which helped. Hollowseeker with Portal Beam is awesome!

I expect the game to kick me back down to earth when I try Biome 5 later! 😬

@Scratchy_Seal I did check and it’s definitely 27 I’m missing so looks like I’ve never come across one of those before. How bizarre 🤔.

@render They appear in some of those portal rooms in the Citadel. I'm not sure I've seen 'em elsewhere.

Had two goes at Hyperion this afternoon -

First time with a carbine with high calibre and (newly unlocked) leech rounds, I thought that would be good to try - but it was just too slow to damage him, and it he got me in the end.

Second time I had a level 17 electropylon driver with a load of upgrades, and I gave him a good and through smackdown!

Onto biome 5 ...

At least it feels like we have better weapons for dealing with them by then!

I wanted to check something with people who've finished biome 4 (but I'm trying to avoid spoilers for anyone who hasn't got there yet, and also for me as I've only just started on biome 5):

After I beat each of the earlier bosses ... the next time I found the house, I would have a sequence exploring it. But not after beating Hyperion - the next time I found the house, in biome 4 again, it was inaccessible. Is that what you'd expect?

@JigsawPieces I think there is a sequence each time you beat a boss. Maybe it'll be available next time around. Not sure how it works exactly.

@JigsawPieces Yeah I noticed that too. I thought it was to do that I did two bosses in one run without dying, but I've seen the house a few since I've died and it is still not available.

@JigsawPieces Nice one 👍. Gotta love the pylon gun, it can do some awesome damage.

Re beating the boss in 4, I think that’s ok as I’m sure I had the same and that it was either unlocked after something else I did or it was then after doing 5.

I know it’s not quite as bad as some deaths but totally kicking myself. I was in the abysal scar with a hollowseeker that had the portal beam 3 trait up unlock. Just managed to unlock it and use it for the first time and I got jumped by this big MF and in two hits went from 200% to zero. Worse still I had 3 large health packs in my pocket and didn’t even get chance to use one 🤣

@render @JohnnyShoulder @MightyDemon82 Thanks all, I think it sounds like something I shouldn't worry about for now.

Hope you get a chance to try out that trait again sometime soon, @render I almost unlocked the first level of portal beam earlier, but either didn't quite get there or didn't get a chance to use it. Soon!

@JigsawPieces @JohnnyShoulder Only thing better than portal beam is portal turret. If you get one with both that’s about as good as life gets 😁

While I can't wait to see that myself, I think I'm going to have to. I just don't seem to be able to find anything at all. There's a good chance I might have unlocked all the weapon traits for all weapons before I get the platinum 😂

So ... sidearm with charging shot - worst weapon upgrade in the game?

I unlocked it halfway through a fight yesterday, and suddenly couldn't kill anything any more!
