Topic: PS5 Pre orders and pricing (WHEN?!)

So we are mid way to July and there has been no information by Sony anything on pricing and pre order date. When can we expect to hear something about those two information? If I could recall correctly the PS4 pre order started to happen around same time 7 years ago. We have to start saving up money for pre orders ASAP

@wardener007 just save up your maximum budget and expect it to release in November. Who’s paying money down at the point of preorder, anyway?

I prefer paying minimum deposit and then pay off monthly till November lol at Gamestop. As well trade off my PS4 pro on the day ps5 launches. And basically preordering earlier assures that I will have hands on day one.

That would be my guess as well.

I agree, we should hear something in August. They would be silly to wait any longer than that.

I'm not going to trust Gamestop with it. I not only preordered my PS2 from those guys eight months before it was released, I paid in full in cash to do so. And I still didn't get one until four months after release. And even then, because I went to the store every week and bugged them about it.

With the PS3, I just walked into Best Buy the day after it released and bought one with no issue. And there weren't any PS4 release titles that I wanted, so I waited almost a year to buy one.

But I would really like a PS5 at launch. So I think I'm going to try and preorder at Best Buy or on Amazon.

If you plan on getting it at launch you should have already started saving up anyways tbh.
