Had one before and sold it, but I bought another PS5 on Thursday from Sony and got it yesterday. Left it on overnight to download several updates to games I installed, but woke up this morning to find that all 3 updates were paused because it wanted me to insert the play discs for them. It downloaded everything but 1 MB for Ratchet & Clank and Immortals: Fenyx Rising, so obviously those instantly installed after the discs were put in, but unfortunately it didn't download anything for Mass Effect until I put the disc in. Is that something new that Sony added in a firmware update? I don't recall discs having to be inserted being a requirement before with installing updates, as I had installed updates in the past with no issues.

@Voltan I figured since I didn't have to do that at all when I had a PS5 the first time. During initial setup, I did set it to whatever the power option was in the middle (we'll call it Power Saver for now) instead of the default one on the left. Not sure if that had anything to do with it, but looking in the settings, I did have it still installing updates automatically, so I don't know.
Maybe it's just one of the games that messed it up somehow? Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart or Mass Effect Legendary Edition. I'm ruling out Immortals: Fenyx Rising since this is the first time I've ever had to do it with that (there's been several updates for that I've installed before).

The tweet says “Are you wearing headphones? let’s go” and the video is something like “get comfortable, it’s about to begin”.
Any wild theories?
It’s only on PS Italy’s Twitter, so it could as well be something local.
So I have HDR set to always on in my system settings. Got 120HZ Support turned off.
I cant adjust the HDR because it tells me its set to off (Its not) and if I boot Ratchet and Clank it tells me to turn it on via system settings (Its turned on according to the system).
What's weird is clearly it IS turned on, because booting Doom Eternal has my TV pop up saying HDR is now in use. So the PS5 is clearly saying HDR is on and using it, but it also thinks it isnt?
Now Playing: Mario & Luigi Brothership, Sonic x Shadow Generations
Now Streaming: The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
Lmao they really expect me to fork over 30 dollars just so I can have my Japanese audio lip synced
Yeah no thanks. Especially given I think HST tax rate here in Canada just got increased from 13% to 15% I'd be way more content with actually trying to save money. Playing GoT on my PS5 as is will be more than enough
