Topic: Naff Games is PS Store

Anyone else noticed that the PlayStation store is full of what can only be described as phone games or amateur spam?

Wish they had a higher standard for listing games through it.

The PS5 section especially has gotten really really awful recently. Absolute crap being promoted on the front page. The Switch eShop is bad for it but the PS Store has gotten as bad. Steam is probably the best these days bizarrely.

I know what games you mean it’s hard to codify exactly what a naff game is. There are some excellent indie games created by single person developers the also appear on mobile.

Stop buying and supporting indie games and people will stop making them.

Shovelware is present on every digital storefront, and there's not much to be done about it. As this topic isn't really going anywhere positive or thoughtful, I think it's best to lock it.
