Blow are my personal top 10 games / franchises I'd love to see revisited, remade or rebooted on the PS5. These are my personal beloved nostalgia filled franchises that have slowly faded away with time. I wouldn’t mind a return of the Resistance series. Also Prince of Persia, Portal, and a new game from the Fumito Ueda (Shadow of the Colossus, Ico, The Last Guardian) universe.

I'd love to see the original Killzone, Tomb Raider and Red Dead Redemption remade with modern engines. Also, Need For Speed could do with a reboot, but more faithful to the original PS1 games. Also Burnout and Split Second...
I missed out on a lot of classics due to being very blinkered in the games that I would play back in my late teens and twenties… so there are a load of games I never actually played but have heard so much praise for since, that I’d love to get a remake for each:

@colonelkilgore@Iver Ah, yes — Parasite Eve, for sure! I’d forgotten to mention that one. It would be an ideal game for a reboot or remake. Also Vagrant Story, which I never actually finished.

Armored Core, I would love to have a new game with decent net code and a narrative that is actually interesting and isn't complete nonsense. Or even go the other way and make it a comedy.
My number 1 KOTOR is thankful being remade, but others I would love new or remade versions
1. Dragons Dogma
2. Timesplitters (with its great single player campaign) "The moose is loose!"
3. Champions of Norrath
4. New Baulders Gate console port
5. Morrowwind (no chance now I know but on the list anyways) I loved making my own spells.
