Since I ordered from PlayStation Direct, I should have mine sometime Friday morning or early afternoon guaranteed as I've never had an issue with them. It's been "Preparing to Ship" for a couple of days now, so no delays.
Not that it really matters when since I'll be at work, but at least I'll know it'll be there when I get home so I can start installing it. I might not get to play it until Saturday, but I'm off all weekend, so I'll get plenty of time with it to make up for it.
2 days!

@KilloWertz I was hoping to have all weekend free to play it too… the missus has asked if we can play some more It Takes Two though on Saturday, so I might just get all of Friday (depending on what time it gets delivered) and some of Sunday.
@KilloWertz I'm hoping that I'll get some time to play over the weekend and then I can play a bit longer in the evenings next week as I'm off work so being a little tired when taking the kids somewhere I'll be ok with.
@velio84 The town where I live here in the UK sounds like we are more on a par with Bulgaria. We have billboards but that's about it. It's not like these fancy places where all the money is like London and Cornwall 😆
I wonder if there are any like these here in Warsaw. Probably not but there should be billboards at least.
There is a huge mural downtown for Dying Light 2 but Techland is local, so it makes sense.
Unfortunately I don't often go out of my own neighborhood these days
@Voltan I guess by doing huge marketing campaigns in capital cities they are more likely to get picked up by other media and splashed across newspapers, TV, and online etc. plus it gives them something to stick on their twitter feed. That way the money spent actually means it reaches more people than doing localised campaigns like billboards. I still enjoy seeing games advertised in this low tech fashion though as it shows that they are at least trying to appeal to people that don't have their eyeballs on the gaming press all the time.
@render Yeah - point is I live in the capital of a rather large European country (it's no Germany but still) so there might be something here too
I haven't seen any yet though
@velio84@render@Voltan don’t know when I’ll play it but I am quite looking forward to it. Lovely edition too, got a map, world compendium, postcards, stickers (as well as the game obviously)… love **** like that!
Oooh, it's pretty cool you guys that ordered physical have a chance of getting a copy early!! I'm feeling good about the digital copy as pending internet issues I should definitely be getting it on the 18th, just there is no chance of it arriving early by accident. That's ok though I'm not that excited 🤪
@Fragile nah, go for it. I'm unfortunately working but getting away early for a dermatology appointment, then into town and collect it. Might pick up some flowers for my wife as I'll be spending Friday night with a certain redhead!
@Fragile I wouldn't say that. If I wasn't having next week off then I'd have booked Friday off but I'm being good on this occasion and using my holiday for family time.
@MightyDemon82 That's a very convenient appointment if it gets you away from work early 😉. On this occasion no flowers will be required for my wife as she is still plugging away at BoTW on the Switch so that's meaning I can play whatever the hell I like and not feel bad about not spending time with her 😆
@render To be fair, chances actually getting it early are very slim. I'm just hoping it's not late because late means Monday, not Saturday.
Then again, I just saw someone tweet a picture of their copy that did arrive early (not sure where they're from).
