@themightyant A TP increase will be extremely welcome. Or at least put in a mode that increases TP. They could even put one of the assignments as TP generation lol.
@z0d15g0d Christ! Is that really what it costs to do 40 Pulls? i've never really looked at it too carefully as I know I won't ever pay that. The most I will do is battle pass and whatever their £5 welkin moon equivalent is.
I finally started Penacony and realised I had 100 wishes / stellar jade left and am at now at 74 pity (I got Misha). I am this close to trying to pull DHIL but am just on the fence. My current thinking is...
I will wait until the end of his banner to see who is coming in the next patch or so. I would prefer Fu Xuan, Jingliu and Luocha to DHIL (or maybe Acheron if she's good) but if they aren't coming soon I can save again.
My concerns are:
1) I will lose the 50/50 again (pain)
2) I don't have many SP positive characters built that synergise with him hence
3) If I get him I will likely want to get Sparkle too, that's all my wishes gone unless I get lucky.
4) I already have Dr Ratio as an Imaginary DPS
@themightyant Could you check your store also and confirm the price for 40 wishes? It's not cool if they dropped the price for newer players only. I would have checked my alt acc on mobile but forgot what sign in details I used.
Yea DHIL is an SP drain so can only be used fully with teams that don't require much SP. Main reason I'm going for Sparkle and it looks like her kit is similar Bronya's without needing E1. With some speed tuning I 'm hoping I can get DHIL to attack 3-4 times per turn with full charges lol.

A quick google suggests this changes country to country and platform to platform but £99.99 is normal price.
It may also explain why I couldn't purchase the battle pass (or was it express supply pass, I forget) from my iPad when I was away, it said to purchase it from the original device (PlayStation) it may not be possible to switch.
UPDATE: Thinking about it I probably wouldn't buy the BP for £10 (£9.99) but would buy it for £7.99, go figure.
@Shigurui 2 grand!!! Christ, I know many people do spend big but I just could never spend anything like that on any game. But I guess I spend that on gaming and tech in other ways most years.

Getting Yanqing on Jingliu banner… that’s top level trolling. Do you use him at all?
Yes almost anyone or anything else would have been better. Bronya obvs, Clara, Gepard, a light cone or even Welt E1 would be better.
That said Having slept on it, it is what it is, not the end of the world and it guarantees whoever I get next. Though it might be a long wait now. Because of this and the fact I have around 100 wishes I am tempted to drop 20 wishes to see if it can get DHIL early, but don’t want to expend my whole stash, I’m undecided and will wait a few days to mull it over. But will likely wait.
Possible rerun spoilers It looks like 2.1 reruns will be either Luocha and/or Fu Xuan. 2.2 Jingliu and HuoHuo or the other from 2.1.
I can understand the spending happening slowly and not realising, this has happened in other areas of life (things like monthly outgoings) and it’s not till you itemise it all that your jaw drops. Good on you for doing that and curbing it.
I spent just over £70 total on Genshin. Mostly the battle pass when I wanted a specific weapon like Serpent Spine or Black Sword. The only time I ever bought gems was Zhongli’s first banner. Because I lost the 50:50 and used every means to gain primogems to get him guaranteed (achievements, quests, chests, star glitter, serenitiea pot etc) but still only got up to 78 pity second time round after grinding. I bought the 10 wish pack to guarantee him with minutes to go on the banner and got him first wish (figures!). No regrets he’s been in many teams since. I’d likely do the same in a similar situation, but thankfully it’s never arisen.
@themightyant Yup I feel your Yanqing pain E2 and he's just gathering dust. I really need a solid ice DPS so I'll defo be going for Jingliu when she returns. TB fire and Gepard are pretty maxed out so not sure if I should go for Fu Xuan. What more does she bring to the table? I'm not too familiar with her kit.
@z0d15g0d Fu Xuan does a lot. But in short she's meant to be the best sustainer in the game. Her kit does the following.
Her first talent reduces ALL damage to all allies by 18%.
Her Skill absorbs 65% damage aimed at allies and takes it on herself as well as boosting their HP 6% of Fu Xuan's HP (which is a lot) and 12% Crit Rate. Skill lasts 3 turns.
Additionally when skill is cast all allies resist crowd control debuffs for one time, can be refreshed when cast again. (this is OP)
Her second talent auto heals herself by 90% of any HP she is missing when she drops below 50% health. She gets ONE use of this initially and can stack up to two.
Her Ultimate refreshes the use of her HP restore talent as well as dealing some quantum damage.
When her Ultimate is used her third talent restores allies HP by 5% of Fu Xuan's HP (again it's a lot) .
She is the most used character in MoC 12 for a reason and the top of many tier lists.
@themightyant Well I'm sold. If she has that much self heal and team dmg reduction that that already puts her above the other 2. I truly hope they don't put her Jingliu's banners back to back. Genshin has been out for a while now. Have they done multiple banner reruns or is it 1 and done?
@z0d15g0d They all come back eventually in Genshin, but sometimes it's a long wait, a few have been over a year. But usually I've found that the first re-run is usually 3-5 patches later and that's a good time to get a character you missed or was on the fence first time around. Not least they will have stood the test of time by then and you should have a good idea if they are going to be permanently strong or quickly powercrept.
I’m split I still kinda want DHIL but think I will wait for Jingliu, Acheron, Fu Xuan, Luocha. I already have Dr Ratio for imaginary and probably don’t have enough for both DHIL and Sparkle.
I’m off backpacking next month so not sure I will even be playing much, but might squeeze in dailies when I can.
@themightyant I want Sparkle and still need JingYuan's LC. I don't fully understand Sparkle's LC details yet but sounds hella broken.
Increases the wearer's CRIT DMG by 32%. At the start of the battle, the wearer gains Mask, lasting for 3 turn(s). While the wearer has Mask, the wearer's allies have their CRIT Rate increased by 10% and their CRIT DMG increased by 28%. For every 1 Skill Point the wearer recovers (including Skill Points that exceed the limit), they gain 1 stack of Radiant Flame. And when the wearer has 4 stacks of Radiant Flame, all the stacks are removed, and they gain Mask, lasting for 4 turn(s).
@z0d15g0d That LC does sound pretty insane. With it she can add over 100% CD onto characters.
Even without it she can add a ton of CD, advance an ally's action forward 50%, and add 48% DMG boost. Additionally she adds 15% ATK to all characters and another 5%/15%/30% ATK to 1-3 other quantum characters. 30% being for mono-quantum, 45% ATK total.
I DO want her, but I already have so many Harmony characters, i'm tempted but think i'll wait.
@themightyant Yea I understand having too many Harmony characters. I did not pull RuanMei so Sparkle will probably be my last Harmony pull. Once I eventually get E1 Bronya then there will be no need for further Harmony characters. It's Jingliu I want next as I have no decent ice DPS so thinking of skipping Jingyuans LC and saving for her instead. Not sure...
Lost the 50/50 and got Bailu (T_T) already had about 70 pulls so managed to get Sparkle in about 30 and her LC in 45 but that means JingYuan LC will have to wait till his next rerun.
Tried a super hyper carry team with DHIL, Sparkle, Tingyun and Bronya. It didn't even matter if the enemy didn't have imaginary weakness lol. DHIL just tore through everything. Sparkle only does 50% Advance so sometimes the enemies still got a turn. I defo need Bronya E1 as this team still consumes a lot of SP.
Gotta admit after watching a few videos I am tempted to get Sparkle she boosts all my DPS quite a lot, though now I wish I got DHIL too. lol. Gonna think about it a bit more but might wait for her rerun, I need other characters/roles more than Harmony.
But I have about 50 pity and around 100 wishes with the next one guaranteed, so can get at least two 5-stars, but i'd then need to win the second 50:50 if I want Acheron, Jingliu or Fu Xuan (whoever's next)
and Sparkle. Decisions decisions.
@Shigurui easily got 80 on the first but only 70k+ first run on the second and third. To be honest it’s only 10k credits and 10 relic remains? (Is that what they are called? I forget) for getting 80k+ I probably won’t bother trying again it’s a pretty dull event to me.
Overall I’ve been a bit disappointed in Penacony so far. After waiting several weeks I finally played and finished the story in a weekend, it was OK I guess but I thought the story telling wasn’t very good, they are trying to make it interesting by keeping you in the dark about everything, I find it a bit annoying tbh, and nowhere near as interesting as the Xianzhou Luofu where I was invested in DH/IL, Jingliu, Jing Yuan, Kafka, Blade etc.
Meanwhile I have been trying to farm for better relics for the past 3 weeks or so. But not really having much luck. I got a couple of small upgrades for Dr Ratio but now he’s Crit Rate heavy and I need to rebalance.
But I can’t get anything for Seele. She’s still rocking two 4 star Genius pieces because they have much better substats (Crit Rate body with 3 extra rolls into CD and ATK%. Plus an ATK gloves with 3 additional rolls of CR & CD) but very little speed anywhere. I even used 3 self modelling resin but got zero substats. Frustrating.
