@Throb I think someone did post about a Push Square group awhile back. I did have a quick look back but couldn't find it or remember who posted it soz.

There's a ton of buffs to both weapons and sorceries (either increased damage, speed or decreased FP/Stamina cost) and very little in the way of nerfs (no doubt the nerf on Swarm of Flies will be controversial though )
@Kairu I never used it against malenia but I did respec to use it, and it was super helpful against Placidusax, or however you spell the name of that particular dragon. At that point I was just mopping up achievements and wanted to get it over with (partly because the run back to his arena in particular is a bit of a slog)
@Mega-Gazz I started on my horse but jumped off as soon as I reached him. I find horse combat a bit tedious against the larger enemies tbh. Against some like Dragons it is an almost a necessity to avoid their breath attacks, but I always try to face them sans horse if possible.

@JohnnyShoulder ya, but in this case you’re not doing horse combat so much as horse-avoiding-the-boss-and-clicking-summoning-signs. To me that boss is the biggest missed potential because he’s a super cool boss turned into a gimmicky “fight” where actually going into combat is the worst strategy and winning with the gimmick is kinda trivial. So I sit there and eat popcorn while the summons do the fighting.
@Mega-Gazz I dunno, I personally still found it a cool fight taking him him on with all the summons with me, fighting him face on. It is obviously easier finding him on your horse with all the summons attacking him, but it is not like the game forces you do it that way.

@JohnnyShoulder yeah I think I was about the same, and similarly I ran in and jumped off my horse. I think if you do it at around 60 you need to do it a lot differently.
You finished the game yet? It feels like I'm over the half way mark after about 170 hours. I'm determined to beat my Witcher 3 playthrough of 400 hours!

@JohnnyShoulder I am really near the end but if I am brutally honest I have bounced off it a bit over the past couple of weeks - 2 months of the same game, any game, is a bit too much for me. I am having a bit of time off to let my enthusiasm build up again. Playing some Captain Toad and Bravely Default on Switch. And taking care of my somewhat neglected house plants 😂
@kyleforrester87 Yeah I get that. It is rare that I stick with a game for so long. I've had a one weekend break from the game and will be having another next weekend, which is also a bank holiday.

@JohnnyShoulder congrats!! That second phase moveset is just crazy! I did that fight on horseback with the summons, though I got stuck in with melee and magic attacks. He pretty much wiped out all my summons within the first couple of minutes of that second phase. Have you been searching for the aftermath of that fight yet?
