There are couple of good vids which point out the tweaks that people have noticed Bluepoint have done. Of course we won't really know until we start seeing some hands on and people start playing it. It's good that BP have listened to concerns from the reveal trailer.
@JohnnyShoulder Yeah, it looks like they have most of the modern mechanics of Souls games while adding some QOL changes. Imagine being able to actually vault over a tiny wall instead of it being an impenetrable barrier.
Be interesting how much they change about the layout. But i imagine it won't be a great deal, just small things like the vault and ladder in tutorial area.
@Foxy-Goddess-Scotchy Yeah there wasn't much to go on, but a few interesting tid bits like the things you mentioned and the shield parry and if they will have the original 4 way roll mechanic from the original.
Apparently a lot fans of the original voiced their concerns on some the enemy, player armour and location designs. Which I think Bluepoint has listened and updated some of them.

I never played the original, but I love the modern changes it looks to have. It looks to take improvements in Souls games since, add a bit of new stuff to keep it fresh, but most importantly, keep the revered design and vision of the original faithfully intact. This is gonna be the greatest launch title of all time.

It's subjective though, isn't it? I'm sure you're right about them being masterpieces or close to that. But plenty of people aren't interested in Mario and of course the same can be said for Souls games.
For me the best launch game is currently Resogun, I'm probably on my own there.
Just pre-ordered this bad boi from The Games Collection, £64.95. No payment taken until just before despatch. If I see it cheaper, I'll just cancel it and get it there.

@JohnnyShoulder I'm gonna start calling Gamestop at noon when they open every day now. I'm not sure what notice we'll get lol. You would Sony will be a bit better, but you don't know anymore. I'm hoping others stores will open earlier and I'll be able to get a place in line at GameStop.
