@JohnnyShoulder How much of the game have you got left now dude?
"Preoccupied with a single leaf, you won’t see the tree. Preoccupied with a single tree, you’ll miss the entire forest. Don't be preoccupied with a single spot. See everything in its entirety...effortlessly. That is what it means...to truly "see." "
@ShaiHulud How do the bosses in DeS compare to the bosses in DS3 such as the Abyss Watchers and Pontiff Sulyvahn? Pontiff took me ages to beat.

@Draco_V_Ecliptic I haven't properly played DS3 yet. I beat the first two bosses or so when I learned about PS5's backpat so decided to wait. Compared to Bloodborne (the last soulsborne I finished) the Des bosses are a walk in the park. Can't remember DS2 that well as it's been ages and DS1 was my first one, so they feel a lot harder but that could also be because it was my first soulsborne.
So that is The Old Monk and Old Hero bosses defeated. Apparently The Old Monk boss could be difficult depending on what players gets summoned to be the boss. However I just got the default AI boss and it was probably one of the easiest bosses across the whole series.
The Old Hero was pretty straight forward once you figured it out. The Thief Ring was very handy here, and for the area too as those pesky flying mantra things left you alone then.
I decided to give Dark Souls 2 another go, I couldn’t get passed the Pursuer back in 2015 and gave up 😂
Tackled him pretty easily this time and beaten a few bosses since. Enjoying it, hopefully I get to the end. Then I plan on playing DS3. Got about 80% through that. I hear it’s 60fps on PS5? 💪🏻
I beat the game this weekend. Not sure how to insert those fancy spoiler fillings, but the end boss sure did have quite an usual power (people who beat him probably will know what I mean). Quite a short game actually compared to DS1 and 2. I might even go ahead and beat it again in a while.
@kyleforrester87 Cheers! I finished my first run in about 20 hours without using a walkthrough, so I reckon that's a good estimate. Like you said before, I sort of feel obliged to play it again because of the 65 quid I spent on it!
@ShaiHulud I played Demon Souls for around 32 hours lol.
Yeah I am enjoying Dark Souls 2, I think it’s a longer game overall? I’ve done each of the 2 bosses in Forest of Fallen Giants and Heide’s Tower of Flame. I’ve explored most of No-mans Wharf. Probably going to make a start on The Lost Bastille next.
@kyleforrester87 It's been a while since I played it (I do remember Heide’s Tower of Flame though, which was awesome) but it was definitely longer than DS1, which was definitely longer than Bloodborne, which was definitely longer than DeS, so there you have it
@kyleforrester87 Dark Souls 2 is maybe the longest one to be honest. There’s loads and loads of bosses. I have to be honest, I think it does so many things badly that I’d struggle to say I enjoy it but it’s worth a play.
Just beat phalanx☺. Really enjoy how rewarding these games can be if you push through, finding shortcuts opening gates etc and beating enemies you thought impossible. Doubt I would be as far on as I am if hadn't already experienced Bloodborne!
