@colonelkilgore Itās okay ā @RogerRoger and I had a laugh a couple days ago on the Marvel thread when my thumbs betrayed me and I typed something about the Marvel superhero āDavedevilā. š So āDean Nationā can join the ranks of my bland generic superhero with its tale of a whole nation made up of average guys named Dean.

I got skins for my old PS4 from Gadgetshieldz and it looks so cool, I added them for all the sides and top of my PS4 because it has so many scratches and looks old! Now it looks new with these skins. https://www.gadgetshieldz.com/playstation-4-skins-decals-wrap...
As could have been predicted, the price for Cyberpunk 2077 at my local GameStop is now up to $30. I bought it for $8 the day the PS5 upgrade was announced. Rare to see an older gameās value go up.
Good thing you aren't blaming me as well @LN78 for nudging you towards the second one š
Really hope you enjoy them though. Can't say anything about the 1st yet but I loved the second to bits.
Oh... and welcome back to Push by the way... At least I think you were here before? I recognise the avatar at least and I'm pretty sure your name's the same too š

@LN78 oh I see them now, maybe the image host was having problems. Damn thatāll keep you busy! I couldnāt put OS1 down when I got it, had a CRPG itch to scratch for 15 years at the time.
@LN78 I played the first DO some time last year, and it is a really good game but the thing that killed for me is the plodding nature of movement, which made getting round the world a bit of a chore.
The writing, characters and voice acting is top knotch however, and I really dug little things like animals having different accents.
Have you played Metro Exodus? I highly recommend it. Feels really immersive and has recieved an astonishing amount of upgrades for the PS5 version.
Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
@LN78 I played it having only playing a couple of hours of the first game, so I say it is not essential but no doubt is the best experience having played the previous two games. It does a good job of recapping what went on before and I never felt I was missing out on anything.

@LN78 I adored Metro Exodus and while Iād absolutely recommend playing the first two, I think thereās a recap. Plus it tells its own story for the most part.
@nessisonett@JohnnyShoulder@LN78Metro Exodus is frequently steeply discounted on PSN. It seems like every other sale has it down to like $8. I know because Iāve pondered it many times when itās so cheap. (Actually, after writing that I checked and sure enough, itās currently discounted for $7.50). The Redux pack of the first two games also goes on sale occasionally ā Iāve seen it for less than $10 several times. Currently $20, but interestingly the first game Metro 2033 is currently on sale for $1.99. Doesnāt get much cheaper than that.
Iāve come close to buying them several times.
Alas, I recently added Hades and then I just sold back Cyberpunk 2077 and was able to pick up Disco Elysium for $5 after the trade in. Another one for the backlog. š I need to put a pause on any new games for a little bit.

@LN78 Yeah, I bought Disco Elysium on the back of several strong recommendations from users on here. When I watched gameplay it looked pretty underwhelming, but more often than not the games that are repeatedly recommended hit well. So I suspect it will be great.
Like my failed Cyberpunk experiment is largely my fault. There was a wide range of mixed feelings about it in the community, some high praise/some not so much, and I ended up not liking it. But I had to try it out myself, so I donāt blame anyone for a misleading recommendation.
The user reviews are really great and I enjoy writing one occasionally (still need to do that LoU2 reviewā¦) and reading the reviews about games Iām interested in. You should definitely drop some extended thoughts on your games over there!
@LN78 once you get used to the controls and interfaces you will (hopefully) fly around as they have been really well optimised for controller. But inventory management does become a bit of a dog late game when youāre managing all your characters and have so much stuff. Overall though it is very serviceable.
The movement is slow versus something like Diablo but I didnāt find it an issue at all.
I can imagine the writing/tone is a bit marmite overall. Youāre either gunna love it or hate it.
well i know you had to grind and have luck at getting a certain item to even try to make the Ultima Keyblade in Kingdom Hearts 1. Im still at the very end of the game where I need to level grind a little more to be a little more powerful than the final boss.
