TraCuz-

@Foxy-Goddess-Scotchy It is not just a PS4 thing, I was annoyed with that camera and lock on system as well on PS5. I'm personally not a huge Tales fan myself I just like the direction Arise seems to be heading in.

Currently Playing:

Rainbow 6: Siege, Kingdom Hearts 2 (1st time), Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen

Played a bit of Crash Bandicoot from the N.Sane Trilogy. My first Crash experience and it has a been good fun so far. Will be a good game to dip into now and again if I need a break from whatever game I'm mainly playing.

Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

I’ve just picked up a few of the old Housemarque games for that very reason (Resogun, Nex Machina and Matterfall).

@colonelkilgore I've not enjoyed any previous Housemarque games that I've played. Returnal is by far the longest I've played any of of their games.

@JohnnyShoulder I haven’t played any to be fair and I still haven’t picked up a copy of Returnal yet, I’ll probably wait until I can get it for around £30 now.

@colonelkilgore You'll be waiting a fair bit then. It will be with PS Plus before you get to play it.

Started The Outer Worlds yesterday. Really enjoying it so far. It’s going to be one of those games that I’m thinking about while I’m at work.

@colonelkilgore @Th3solution Still playing through Control, made a bit of progress with it this morning and cleansed another area, really enjoying exploring the Oldest House and discovering it's varying and multifarious secrets. I like the gunplay in the game, the service weapon is a great (and serviceable!) weapon, haha, capable of dealing with almost any situation so it seems, so far at least - looking forward to unlocking telekinetic powers though! .

How are your game(s) going?

@TheBrandedSwordsman yeah I noticed you popped a trophy or two this morning on my feed. I thought you’d enjoy it bud.

I’m really enjoying Watch Dogs 2 actually… I really needed something chill and humorous after a couple of very intense gaming experiences. A genuinely fun game.

Thrillho

@TraCuz- I’m looking forward to playing Fort Condor; I spent a lot of time playing that on the original game!

@JohnnyShoulder The first game had some of the hardest parts of the trilogy and the controls can feel a little weird but it’s still a great game. I hope you enjoy the rest of the series!

@Bentleyma- I really enjoyed the game too. The companions really make the game for me. It’s not quite a AAA game though and I noticed it with the fairly limited types of enemies and weapons you get.

@Thrillho At the moment my only problem with the game is the long load times and texture pop in when loading areas. I’m enjoying everything else. I love exploring and talking to everyone I can, including the companions.

@Jimmer-jammer Hey dude great to hear from you again, I've also mentioned you in yonder Chit Chat thread, I'm really enjoying Control, didn't know your name was Jesse, I take it you don't have someone living in your mind with you like her though right? lol. I'll have to check out Fringe, no idea what it is but I'll try and look into it.

@TheBrandedSwordsman Good work — yeah, my advice would be to prioritize unlocking and leveling up the shotgun first. The other weapons weren’t as useful early on. It helps with those enemies that charge you and explode. The basic pistol is actually really useful too and I killed the two toughest bosses with it, because you can find a powerful for it later that really makes it OP,
I won’t spoil it for you but it saved me a couple times.

I started Returnal and really enjoying it. I keep wanting to telekinetically toss things at the enemies though. 😅

BlAcK_Sw0rDsMaN

@Th3solution Hahaha, speaking of which, I just unlocked telekinesis and got the trophy for that, it's great fun hurling objects around and throwing them at enemies, I'm now just proceeding to the mail room and trying to get to the 'hotline' sol and @Jimmer-jammer and @colonelkilgore I'm really enjoying my time with the game, looking forward to potentially deciphering all it's secrets!

@Th3solution How is Returnal going? @colonelkilgore How is Watch Dogs 2 going? @Jimmer-jammer Still enjoying Biomutant?

@TheBrandedSwordsman yeah it's good, very GTA5 in many respects. The driving isn't as good but I'd argue the control of the protagonist is better. It feels anarchic in the way the PS2 era GTA's felt too, which I'm enjoying.

You still enjoying Biomuant... must be closing in on finishing it soon I'd imagine?

Temet Nosce

BlAcK_Sw0rDsMaN

@colonelkilgore I switched from Biomutant to Control, still in the early stages of Control. Biomutant's gameplay just felt less satisfying to me as it went on.
