@GirlVersusGame Thing is, Insomniac's universe is definitely not the same as the default one in the comics. For one, it seems like the was never a Weapon X program in this version and as far as I can tell, X-men are not yet a thing at this point. So it's hard to tell what happens next. Personally I think it's an interesting new take - I'm sure people will find a way to be mad about it though
@Voltan If he was never in the Weapon-X program then all hope of a naked Wolverine skin has been dashed, I thought the game was about his origins up to when he joins the X-men and then it basically rolls credits, I trust Insomniac to do right by the character but I've been reading the comics thinking they based the game on those Now I'm wondering if Insomniac wrote their own story for Spiderman too. I've still only watched the first movie and I did play all three games back to back but what started as 'I shall read those Spiderman comics and figure this all out' turned into 'this big red Carnage man has a one-thousand+ page book' so I read about him instead and had no regrets. Then I saw he had a Sega Mega-Drive game too so I played that too. In the end I learned nothing about Spiderman, only Carnage, Venom and I was already a Wilson Fisk enjoyer.
@GirlVersusGame oh dw, there is actually a weapon x skin in the game, it's just not related to the story at all (similar to the animated skins etc).
He's also feral and naked in the literal first scene of the game, but for different reasons (explained towards the end of the game).
And yes, Insomniac's Spider-Man differs from the best known comic universe too, in some major ways (like the fact that Harry Osborn is Venom <- spoiler for SM2 story)
Solid game. Never finished it on the PS3 or the PS4 generations but got a ways through both times.
Gameplay is top notch, writing was top notch. It's not as up to par as RDR2 but the sandbox and fun you can have in this game is near limitless.
I was slightly lucky too. My last trophy was the gold rush, requiring gold medals on at least 70 missions. It popped after getting gold on 68 missions which was nice.
Having platinumed RDR2 and now GTA 5 back to back I definitely need to play some other games so I don't start to feel burnt out with the Rockstar formula before GTA 6 rolls around.
@TDHorizon Congrats TD, I don't think I've ever gotten a Platinum in a Rockstar game. I definitely didn't for Red Dead Redemption 2 because their was a trophy for seeing all of the animals and some of them just wouldn't spawn. I'm not even sure what trophies a Grand Theft Auto would have other than stunt jumps and hidden packages. Any idea what you'll aim for next? and are you doing the Horror game thing for Spooky season?

@GirlVersusGame Thank you very much! Because I've put so many hours into GTA5 over the years I couldn't tell you which one was more difficult and / or time consuming between the two.
I think I'm going to finally go for GOW Ragnarok! Need a cmpletely different change of pace and scenery for a while.
No I havent heard of the Horror game challenge. What are the requirements?
I'll be honest I'm a complete wuss when it comes to horror games. I typically play at night once the family has gone to bed with my headphones on and I get very immersed in what I'm playing so horror games are typically a no go from me 😂

Oh so multiple times on and off with the game meant random trophies kept popping, that actually makes a lot of sense.

My change of pace has been to not really chase trophies, I think my last platinum was November, I was pushing a little too hard and though I respect the grind I'm liking the casual side of things.

No idea I didn't grow-up with Halloween, in Russia it's more of a nightclub thing so I didn't know about it until England. People seem to play some Spooky games in October, I'm trying it now too. Nothing insanely scary, just something light and strange. It sounds fun.

I don't play Horror games because jump-scares/sudden noises/loud bangs aren't good for my anxiety, I admire those games and those Developers, I just can't play them. Which means missing out on big franchises like Resident Evil and Silent Hill. I did buy Hellraiser, mostly because I love Clive Barkers work and because Saber are a Developer I respect. Their CEO said he would stick to cheaper entry points for their games and he stood by his convictions. I want to see Saber continue. For the game itself I'll watch a video of someone else playing.

@GirlVersusGame I think in recent years the horror/thriller games I've been willing to potentially dive into are the Alan Wake games and also finally getting into the Resi Evil games.
Resident Evil is something I've typically watched but never got around to playing myself.
