Three in three days, the least favorite being Hello Neighbour 2. I was always curious about the series but all of that went away about half an hour in when I started to see how janky it actually was. For a plat it's fairly easy but that's if the AI doesn't start to go wonky, which it did for me in one of the first chapters/days. Viewfinder was also very easy and it's clear the Dev really knows how to think outside the box. Killer Frequency took I think three playthroughs and I loved every minute I spent with the game. Those were # 66 # 67 and # 68 I think Cyberpunk will be # 69 though I may have to roll some different saves for the ending. Multiple playthroughs would be very time consuming.
These violent delights have violent ends & in their triumph die, like fire & powder Which, as they kiss, consume.
Got platinum for Silent Hill f last night. I genuinely enjoyed my time with the game, the story is an easy 10/10 for it's themes and subject matters. Ok let's address the elephant in the room, the combat is not great, it's not the worst like the internet tries to make it out, but it definately could do with some refinements, also some of the enemies are extremely cheap and stun lock you for days! but overall the game is worth a play, as some parts of the story will stick with me for a very long time to come.
@Oram77 Nicely done! Ive been mostly avoiding anything ‘f’ related so I can just drink it in (not every day we get a quality Silent Hill release) and it’s been so awesome thus far. I agree that the combat could be a lot more interesting (for me it’s just kind of there, not bad but not good so to speak-maybe it gets worse down the line?) but everything else is so extremely well done and, despite my initial concerns, very Silent Hill. Ebisugaoka is a fantastic setting and the puzzles in particular have been appropriately weird, disturbing and challenging in equal measure. I’m not finished yet but it’s been about 20 years since I was this captivated by a new entry. How’s the platinum to earn?

@Metonymy Don't want say too much as not to ruin your expirence, but honestly the platinum is fair, if I had to say the "worst" trophy is maxing health and stanima and insanity, but even that isn't too bad.
My latest platinum (#144) is The Plucky Squire. Raced to finish it before it left PS+. I managed to do so, though it was a bit iffy at times. Luckily, no major glitches. Thought it was an interesting concept.
A few plats for me...
Psychonauts 2. A fun platformer, 3/10 difficulty and about 20 hours.
Well worth playing.
Another crab’s tale. Also 3/10. Enjoyable story and characters, interesting take on the Souls genre and even quite faithful in certain areas such as enemies hitting you through walls etc...
Joking aside, it was also very good.
Aliens fire team elite. 6/10 and 100 hours. Lots of fun in coop although very tense and stressful, much like the “real” thing one would imagine.
@CaptD congrats x3 bud! Yeah A:FTE was loads of fun fair play… though glad that we have finally seen the back of it in all honesty. Deffo want to get to the other two mentioned too in time.
@CaptD I’ve heard many good things about Psychonauts 2. I haven’t played the first game, do you think it would click as well with someone who has no experience with the predecessor?
“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”
@Th3solution
I haven’t played the first one (have added it to my wish list) and didn’t feel that I had missed out on too much, there certainly are minor elements referenced but they seemed inconsequential.
@CaptD 6/10 for Aliens FE? I'm guessing @graymamba and yourself didn't have too much trouble getting the rest of the missions done in the end then. Congrats to you both. I've realised I'm not bothered enough to put in the time/effort to knock it out but I appreciate you assisting me to pick a couple of extra trophies with it.
@BearsEatBeets I’ve left one simple trophy as I’ll pop it for my next milestone, so still a little bit more A:FTE for me.
Yeah we got them done mate and appreciate the help you provided during the missions you joined us for. We all rate things differently in terms of difficulty and I’d certainly rate it above a 6… but I get where @CaptD is coming from.
@BearsEatBeets
I think I rated it a 6/10 mainly because the dlc helped but also I think I just jelled with the game although it still made me stressed and swear quite a bit. Also @graymamba and I did the majority of the game with an AI bot so when a third player such as yourself turned up it just felt that much easier.
The 6/10 rating was also made to lessen the intimidation factor that this game has, it really is not THAT difficult.....as long as you have a decent squad and one that communicates.
Well after many (many) attempts this evening to beat the training gauntlet record on Titanfall 2… on what must’ve amounted to around my eleventy-fourth go, I finally did it and the plat popped to follow. My hands now hurt quite a bit! 🤕
@graymamba Nice one. I looked at the trophy list from when I played it a while ago and I never managed/bothered to get that one but it’s known to not be easy.
@Thrillho@CaptD yeah cheers chaps. It’s been at the back of my mind since I got the multiplayer trophies done over 5 years ago… so I knew once I got all campaign related trophies done that I’d then have this one left to do. It was around as tough as I’d heard… but doable with the right amount of sheer bloody-mindedness 😅
After smashing my fae against a wall for 52 hours, I've got platinum for Forspoken..... what a truly awful game (imo of course). It may have the most unlikeable main character I've seen in a video game. Also the game had no right to be that bloated, it gave me Ubisoft game vibes (and not in a good way). I don't usually rag on a game too much, but man this one left a bad taste in my mouth, which I'm now cleansing by playing Spider man.
