Hello everyone I’m having trouble deciding between a seagate hdd and a PNYCS900. Which one is the better overall? I feel like 90 is the best price to find a great quality ssd like the PNYCS900

SSDs are faster, use less energy and are more reliable. If the price difference isn’t significant to you, you should get the SSD.

If you've got a slim or original PS4 then you'll notice a small upgrade by using an SSD instead of a mechanical HDD as they have a SATA 2 interface.

If you've got a Pro you'll see a massive difference due to the SATA 3 interface (up to 6Gb/s throughput). I know - I had one with a Crucial MX-500 inside and the long load times mentioned on this site were not evident! True, it's not the same speed as a PS5, but it's closer that you might think...
