I didn't think anything would come close to UC4 as my GOTY but TLG came pretty damn close.

@Feena: Yeah, I completely agree. I tend to prefer Japanese games in general, but this year felt like a really weak year for western studios. I can't wait for Persona 5, nieR, and maybe even some EDF5!

@themcnoisy: I'm glad that FFXV is getting votes even though it's still new!

@ztpayne7: Me too, such a game. Pity some of the continuity parts of the story let it down. If it was left in the oven for another 2-3 months with a clever writer it could have been one of the standard bearers of JRPGs like its forebears. Hopefully a patch comes in to fix some of the tacked on scenes and builds on them. But an easy GOTY for me.

@Feena: It will, It needs some post game tlc, but not in a cash grab kind of way.

@Mega-Gazz we've had enough votes now to legitimize the Result which is nice and hopefully a last trickle of votes come in - but yeah without promoting it on the homepage we are down by loads of votes compared to last year. But that's okay, it makes every persons vote count even more!
