Lol I just skimmed through the trailer, I was expecting Umbrella Chronicles levels of rubbish but it actually looked okay at first glance. Still, not necessarily for me, but multiplayer competitive games can be pretty fun..

Will have to look into it more.

I know everyone hates Konami but I guess if future MG games are made with the involvement of much of the same team perhaps they can still be okay? Maybe? lol

@kyleforrester87: Not the same team. Same engine though. Both Kojima Productions and Koji Pro LA are gone (though the former lives on with most of the same staff). Anyways...
Ninja'd. Having a funeral down on a different thread, Tasuki can close it if he wants (though it's a pretty significant event). To be fair, even with a story ludicrous by Metal Gear standards, it does look like it could be an interesting spin-off. But if I had to wager a guess it'll be a microtransaction-riddled cash-in that's mediocre at best. RIP Metal Gear, it was nice knowing you. Shame Kingdom of the Flies couldn't be finished.

@kyleforrester87: Its not going to be ok Im flabbergasted to say the least. They want a piece of the cod / titanfall / bf pie. Just like resi and see how that turned out. Unfortunately for Konami MGS fans are more clued up than most so this will never work.

Ah well lets wait and see anyway, I love the MGS games but I'm sure some of my least favourite aspects of them are as a result of Kojima actually being involved, so can't say he's perfect. I'd like to see them do a proper instalment, not multiplayer stuff mind you, but I'm happy enough for them to keep putting MG games out.. Why not I guess!

If it's not a proper ending for Metal Gear Solid V, I don't want anything MGS-related from Konami any more.

This is absolutely hilarious. Konami have truly gone off the deep end now, they're pretty much nothing without Kojima.

A company does not just stop because they lose an employee.

Konami could've just copied and paste the gameplay of MGS V and set it in a different area and boom MGS 6, but no we get this rubbish.

But it does when it makes a stream of stupid decisions to throw all of its gaming divisions away and then try to get them back. Also, losing a leader could make a HUGE difference to any operation.

@PlaytendoGuy: Man that's spot on. Why dont they do that? Such a better idea. Set it up in Norway and South America and kerching. Win win for everyone.
