Topic: Mentioning Remote Play in reviews

Not sure what sort of appetite there would be for this, but it's something that just occurred to me that I know I would appreciate. I was thinking it could be good if PS4 reviews (at least for the big releases) could give a mention to how the games play in Remote Play with the Vita.

Now that I have less time at home with the TV to myself, I'm finding myself pushed to use RP more often to get my fix, and so I can see it becoming a more important factor for me in what I pick up. However, many gaming websites don't seem to bother mentioning it in their reviews. It is usually possible to find a forum topic on the matter, but it would be nice to get a verdict from our trusted Push Square reviewers!

Good idea

This is something that's crossed out minds a few times. We agree that it'd be a nice addition to reviews - after all, it's a PS4 feature that should work whenever necessary - but it'd be difficult to implement at times, as not all of our reviewers have access to both consoles.

But yeah, we'll see what happens!

I was thinking about this about 5 minutes ago. Just switched off alien isolation and wouldn't mind sneaking another cheeky half an hour in. Is that remote play? Where does it say on the game pack?

Usually it says on the back of the case (or in the description if digital).

I think all PS4 games are Remote Play, unless they use the PlayStation Camera or some other kind of peripheral. Some do it better than others, though, as they incorporate unique control schemes, etc. I'm certainly not opposed to the idea - thanks for the feedback!
