Just finished this and loved it. A bit iffy controls at times but what a game. Quantic Dream just do things differently and aren’t afraid to try. Heavy Rain was awesome and I can’t wait to play Detroit: Become Human. Keep doing what you’re doing QD

Nice one, glad you enjoyed it. I have mixed feeling about it tbh and keep meaning to go back and play it to see what I think now.

Did you play it where the story runs in chronological order?

No I didn’t play it in chronological order as most reviews said not to. Not sure why as - erm life and anything else happens in an order. But FPS’s like COD/Battlefield are all basically the same as is with other games but I loved this. Reminds me of The Last of Us - just something different. Naughty Dod smashed it with Uncharted but then went down a new path. Character interaction and a bit of emotional connection really makes a game memorable once it’s over.

@Alpine021 Haven't played Detroit, but loved Heavy Rain. Beyond Two Souls... well, let's just say it's been in my backlog for almost two years now for a reason.

I enjoyed some parts of it a lot (the training montage I won't forget), but the scene in the bar made me a bit too uncomfortable and led me to dismissing the game for the time being. It just felt like every male character in QD games wanted to rape me. Now we are on tgis topic, is that the last kind of that scene in the game, or should I expect more?

I will get back to it someday. I at least want to finish it before I play Detroit.

@Kidfried IIRC that is the only scene in Beyond that happens. Apart from the clunky stealth sections, I enjoyed my time with the game.

Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

@JohnnyShoulder I wasn't offended, scared or scarred by it or anything, but it was just another "ah man, again?" moment that made me lose some motivation to continue.

Beyond is good.
Heavy Rain is great.
Detroit is a must-play.

There’s nothing like QD games. Enjoy Detroit when you get to it @Alpine021.

Th3solution

@Alpine021 @Kidfried I had fully intended to play Beyond TS first before Detroit, but my rationale was that with such a large backlog I’m harboring, I’ll just focus on the cream of the crop for now and I skipped Beyond to go straight to Detroit last month, and Detroit is fantastic. I’m sure I’ll like Beyond TS if I can ever get to it, but when I attempted to prioritize it, I had to spend my time with the best stuff first. It makes for a possible let down later on if Beyond indeed is the weakest of the QD PS4 triad, but I have a feeling we’re not getting another QD game for a loooong time, so I’ll have time to play Beyond when the mood strikes me.

I really liked Beyond: Two Souls. There are some really good chapters in the game, especially the one in Navajo.
