Tasuki, I've heard that opinion before but I honestly don't understand it.  I'm about halfway through Lagoon, and have seen nothing that makes it better than FF7.  Now, nothing about it is BAD, but nothing about it is above mediocre, either.  It's just "pretty good", atleast so far.  I wonder if people who have that opinion, have it as a result of the "First Decent RPG" effect.  It seems whatever someone's first decent RPG was, is better to them than whatever the more popular one of the time is.  I DO think FF7 is a little overrated, but it did many things well, and was the first real 3d RPG, I believe.  It was also the first to *SPOILER ALERT********* Kill off a main character *******END SPOILER ALERT******, which, in my opinion is one of the main reasons it's remember so fondly.  Many, many people I know name that moment as one of the most memorable moments of their childhood, and I'm included there.  I agree that there were some bad ones after.  I personally couldn't get into 8, thought X was awful, and thought 13 spelled the end of Final Fantasy as we knew it, but 9 was great.  Maybe the best of all of them.  I'm also in the group that really, really enjoyed 12.  Again, all my opinion, of course.

Well I will one flaw with your replay is that Final Fantasy VII came out 3 years before Legend of Dragoon did so I can't see how that is a point.  I dont know but I will admit I never finished Final Fantasy VII cause honestly I just got bored of it.  For some reason Legend of Dragoon kept me interested up until the end causing me to finish it as well as the optional boss.  I enjoyed the characters alot more too but just like you its all my opinion.  I think though the problem was at least during that era is that FF 7 just set the bar too high and any RPG that was to follow was doomed from the beginning.

Probably a clean GTA6 for PS4. By clean, I mean no sex (and co.), no swearing, tone down the violence a bit, and maybe tone down drugs. I know it'll never happen, but hey, a man can dream.

Another nice thing that I'd love to see would be an all metal Guitar Hero. Just to bring the franchise out of the grave for one more iteration for some nice guitar play would be both nostalgic and fun to play.

Honestly why would anyone play that?  Not trying to sound rude but how could you have a GTA game without that stuff?

Let me clarify. I don't mean take out the ability to hijack a car and then run over pedestrian and the like. It would still be a violent game, just not distastfully so (Ok, maybe a little bit so, but not too much). Swearing doesn't make a story, and things can function wothout it. I also don't need drugs completely removed, I'm not sure how much they would get toned down though. I don't care for the strip clubs in the game, so that wouldn't bother me if those were removed. There are plenty of things in GTA that don't involve them either. It would still be GTA, and most definitely not like the Sims.

And what a fine Guitar Hero game that one was!  It was definitely one of, if not, the best of the bunch.  I wouldn't mind seeing a new GH game on the new systems, but it will definitely have to be a good one to pull the crowd back in.

Crazy thing is with me I can't stand the Guitar Hero games but I bought Guitar Hero Metallica just because it was Metallica.

Persona 3 Golden for Vita, with all the great options of PSP, the added content of Persona 3 FES and something extra like Persona 4 Golden.
Another one would be Final Fantasy VII remake for Vita.

i'd love to greenlight a dc/marvel crossover game...be it a marvel v capcom style or even lego..i'd love to play a game where the worlds collide.
Plus i'd like to see a next gen "dizzy" game..for those old enough to remember dizzy was a commodore 64/amstrad/spectrum game...it'd be great done in a zelda style adventure game i think.

Open-world Crash Bandicoot 6 developed by Naughty Dog. Technically Crash Twinsanity was Crash 5 since it is the fifth Crash platformer on console and is known in Japan as "Crash Bandicoot 5: The Ambition of Crash and Cortex?!?!?!".

Grand Theft Auto Quintet HD Edition.
Give GTA III, Vice City, San Andreas and the 'Stories' games to Bluepoint and see how good they can make them look.
Add trophies and I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
